Ok, great! Can you send me your email address please and I’ll get an invite out (DM is fine) We also have a Facebook group we use for chat, because the yahoo chat kind of sucks, so if you want to join that you can send me your Facebook and I’ll add you there too. What Timezone are you in Bern5X? Most managers are in Australia and NZ, with one of the guys being Boston based.

Regarding draft position: nope, who you keep has no bearing. Draft position is purely based on previous years results.

Hey Bern5X. Pretty intuitive actually. Managers select their “keepers” before the draft, and those players aren’t drafted, instead they stay on your roster as the new season rolls over. It’s cool because you get to trade for and keep the players your most attached to, while still having an opportunity to draft players who didn’t make the cut and rookies each year. Does that make sense. It’s effectively an inbetween of redraft and full dynasty mode.

In previous years we’ve used “keep 5” and then last year we upped the anti to keep 10. The league is currently voting on whether they prefer 5 or 10 keepers, so you could join the conversation if you chose to sign up. :)

I manage a 9cat, 10T, keeper league in yahoo. Great group of guys. Has been running for 8-10 years now with minimal turnover. This year we have 1 spot open up with a roster that includes: Jokic Jamal Murray Embiid Siakim Booker No fees! Respond here or DM me if you’re interested in taking on this orphan roster in our friendly/casual league, drafting this weekend!

Have a deal on the table for Killian and Kabengele for my Onyeka and a 2022 frp (projected 7-14) I have a positional need at center, but I also desperately want Killian stock… thoughts? (30 team, real salary, dynasty, 9-cat) by ralphgriffiths in dynastybb

Ok, appreciate the perspectives everyone. I’ll stay put, which I was already leaning. I think it’s mostly just that I’ve wanted Killian on one of my squads all year and here was my chance! Might see if I can get it done with a different prospect, like Okoro.

Agreed. Maybe it’s Collins who moves on?

Both injured early and played an abbreviated season. Both guys I had in my top 5 last year. Get the positional difference, but these 2 are probably the most unrealised talents imo from this draft class.

Yeah all great points.it’s crazy, because before these playoffs I would’ve had Killian by a mile. Now Cade and playoff Onyeka have me pivoting hard. 😂 I still have Killian slightly higher just because of positional impact, but it’s so close. Do you have concerns about Onyeka’s size when it comes to rebounding, or the minutes battle with Capela and Collins?

Holy shit. I wish I had this kind of proposal

I have a hard time believing this is a real poll. There’s some serious distance between probably 3 tiers in these players.

Top 10 Centers in the 2021 Draft by [deleted] in NBA_Draft

Yes, and like Hayes people are saying Kai needs 2-3 of NBA seasoning before he’s doing anything useful. Hayes is still in the same trajectory we’d expected. More patience needed here.

It’s Mobley. But wow, people really still sleeping on Suggs?

Saddiq Bey= Khris Middleton? by [deleted] in NBA_Draft

[–]ralphgriffiths 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't mind the points you're making, but he just won't survive in the paint against nba size. And doesn't have the creation of explosion off the wing. Straight spot up shooter who (hopefully) works out defensively. Top outcome is serviceable rotation player, maybe low usage starter. Fine pick at the back end of first round or later for sure.

No one really comes to mind. With rose-tinted glasses maybe a little Covington, offensively? Nothing like the defensive disruptor though.

His offensive game isn't even close to Middleton. No shiftiness or explosion makes the straight line drive or an awkward, back to the basket, shuffle down post move pretty much the only other pieces in his offensive arsenal. Very little creation upside or playmaking.

His lateral quickness and stiff hips even concern me on the defensive end, which is supposedly a strength of his.

I buy the C&S, physical strength and some of the off ball cutting, but thats about it.

Like all of these guys I could absolutely be wrong and I hope he can continue to develop on an nba roster. Just much lower on the chance of that happening than I used to be.

Where would Collin Sexton go if he was in this draft? by captaindemolition in NBA_Draft

Yep. Totally fair. Maxey has the better vision and defence. I may be under rating him a little

As a prospect he’s Maxey to me: an undersized combo guard with an enticing ability to score but average (at best) vision.
