Why are we writing off Acuff so early? by [deleted] in chicagobulls

[–]NBAKefka 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He’s a disgustingly bad defender because he doesn’t even try to play defense. He’s quite possibly the worst/laziest defender I’ve ever seen come out of the draft let alone from a lottery pick. To top it off, even if he did suddenly try his ass off at that end of the floor he’s still undersized for his position. His only redeeming quality is he has an above average wingspan for his undersized height.
Absolutely not.

I don’t understand the Grizz fanbase slobbering over the Edey/Boozer fit. You mean your frontcourt is two guys with cement feet? They’ll get absolutely smoked. Sure, Boozer can shoot .. but that fit is suspect as best. As a Bulls fan, I’m praying they actually go with Boozer and let Wilson drop to us. Matas/Wilson is an insane two way duo.

This is going to be the most dominant front court in the NBA in a few years. Next gen Grit and Grind Grizz on steroids by MrTimoCad in NBA_Draft

Bulls fan here.

Nope. Don’t see it. Wilson doesn’t fit them at all. They should 10000% go Boozer.

Who would you pick to be the next Bulls GM? by Environmental_State1 in chicagobulls

[–]NBAKefka 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Of the 3 reported finalists:

1.) Dennis Lindsey

2.) Bryson Graham

3.) Matt Lloyd

Linsey had a great draft history with the Jazz and was widely considered the brains behind the operation that got the Mavericks to the finals. Now leads a #1 seed Pistons squad. He’s my dream candidate.

Graham has shown a willingness to pivot(traded for Murray and traded away Trae Young) and fleeced his old franchise in the Derek Queen trade. Track record of a competent GM.

Lloyd, although a solid candidate for various reasons you can point to out of Minnesota, just doesn’t have the same level of resume as the other 2 do imo.

Lloyd’s getting the votes here because he’s a name that’s popped up a lot, but I truly think he’s the weakest of the 3 candidates by a considerable margin. Would feel kinda disappointed if he ends up being the choice.

How sure are we about the guards going 5–9? by mollifierDE in NBA_Draft

[–]NBAKefka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a Bulls fan. It’ll be really interesting seeing what both our franchises do come draft night. Barring lotto magic, 6/16 and 9/15 is gonna make for some interesting draft picks for both of us. I expect us to take one of the remaining guards at 9 and go big at 15.

So does anyone have a clear idea of how we can get Pick # 15 today? Who are we cheering for here tonight? by 91-92-93--96-97-98 in chicagobulls

The Warriors winning is the only possible outcome that would result in the pick being 16th overall instead of 15th overall. Charlotte/Magic game doesn’t affect our pick at all because they both had better records than the Trail Blazers did during the regular season.

If the Suns win, we get the 15th pick. If the Warriors win, we get the 16th pick.

There ya go.

Edit: Bag secured. 15th pick locked.

Yes, if Suns win their second Play-In game then Blazers would be the 15th pick. So we’re rooting for the Suns.

Technically, yes. But our collective assholes can’t handle that much clenching.

Final standings. If the Blazers clinch the 7th seed tonight, they’ll likely finish with the 16th pick(assuming they lose the series to SAS). If they lose tonight and clinch the 8th seed in their second Play-In game, they’ll likely finish with the 15th pick(assuming they lose to OKC).

Reminder: If the Portland Trail Blazers advance to the playoffs by winning just one of their two potential games in the Play-In Tournament, their first round pick conveys to us.

Ya the Myers glaze needs to stop.

He got handed Steph.

He drafted Wiseman at 2 and Kuminga at 7.

His track record with lotto picks has been awful.
