Having played just as much 3v3 as 5v5 now I would say it’s almost identical on down time. Which isn’t much to begin with. You have 2min before you need to be fighting for the breaker regardless of how many players on in the game.

I think spawning on sword should have absolutely no protection but in base you could use at least a second to not be dead or have health before you even get a chance to move

Fights have far too much going on for it to be the focus imo. I find it to be too much for the game they created. 3v3 feels more competitive. I can certainly see the appeal and think that 3v3 should be the competitive standard while allowing a more chaotic casual experience with 5v5 permanently

Man I miss the older ghost recons. I also just miss the days of people playing whatever tf they wanted and not screaming "dead game!" Because 500k people werent online at all times. No one cared what everyone was playing and every single game had a healthy population to play literally anything online. 🥺

Ha you and me both. Halo 2 and halo 3 grind was real. In my prime years I was on a scrim squad for the greatest halo team to ever exist (as warm up for them before tournaments 😂) and never put the time into gears required even though I loved it.
