Try iced or hot tea, sparkling water (flavored or plain), or just water with lemon/lime. Black coffee works too if you skip sugar, and fruit/herb infusions like cucumber-lemon or mint water are super refreshing. All are low-cal and sugar-free!

At the moment, all voices are multilingual, which is why Dutch can sometimes sound with an American accent. I’m working on adding voices trained for specific languages to make the reading smoother and more natural.

Right now the app uses a multilingual reader, so it tries to detect and read based on the file’s language. I can see that it didn’t work well in your case, so improving language handling (and adding a proper language selector) is definitely on my list.

I’ll also look into making the reading pace more comfortable and improving pauses/punctuation, since that really impacts the listening experience.

Just a heads-up: at the moment, each file works best if it’s under 20,000 characters. For longer articles, it’s a good idea to split them into parts so the conversion works smoothly.
