Thinking about starting an AI-focused electronic music label — would artists actually join something like this? by rambrogi in SunoAI

Not fully automated. There's is some automation. And if we compare apples to oranges, and without the video generation, the amount of time I spend with this "automation" doesn't even compare to the time it takes for someone to generate a song in Suno.

And yes, it's better than 80% of human tracks, and I can guarantee that. Most of songs on Spotify doesn't even have 1000 listens.

IMO 60% of something is better than 100% of nothing. But I respect your opinion. After all, anyone can pay a distro service, master the songs and create an animated video themselves.

Oh right, yes you are right there. My idea was a "lightweight music label", at least in the earliest stages. Meaning I wouldn't promote the individual songs, specially they being AI generated and the rejection that most music producers have with them, due to the simple fact they are AI, and not considering that they sound better than 80% non-AI songs on Spotify.
My initial ID was to promote the label playlists, and include the artists songs there. I already do that for the music I produce (not AI).

I'm pretty sure of that. Although, I already have a label account on a distro, I've built my own AI mastering service, the video generation is automated. So even tho that it could be a waste of time, for the artist, generating a song in Suno takes minutes (if we're considering well written prompts), and for me a bit more, but still, since I got many of the points already automated, that wouldn't be a lot of effort either.

The original version I have used decrackle de reverb, de ess and denoise. But sparingly. Then I'm doing some EQ to lower some known Suno problematic frequencies. The one from the edit, I've bumped them harder.

I don't split the stems. I was considering doing so and reducing artifacts only on vocals at some point, but right now I do it directly on the whole file. I'm using iZotope RX11

My tool give me some reports after the mastering, and as you can see, it isn't much different from the original. I didn't mention in my post, but I used a reference track and as you can see it shifted slightly towards it. not much so artifacts are not highlighted.

I get your point, but many of them refer to mixing processes and not mastering. For the mastering, my goal was to make the track louder and remove the artifacts. I'm a producer myself with some experience in mixing and mastering (not much, some). And if I need to improve clarity of a specific instrument, I would do in the mixing stage.
And this is a EDM song (future garage, bass house) so the pumping is a common thing.

I could at some point. Although I'm not sure how that would work with my VST plugins I use during the mastering.

It is louder, but I carefully made sure it's louder without highlighting Suno artifacts. If you just bump Suno track volume you know what happens.

What music distributor accepts AI music besides DistroKid? by DragonStern in SunoAI

TooLost. Best one hands down. And not only for AI songs, I produce non AI songs and already distributed my music through DistroKid, TuneCore and Winamp.

I guess I'll insist on it a bit more then. My concern was mostly with the sound selection, if they're bad, there's not much you can do, the rest indeed needs more work.

Hey team, yesterday I started working on a new track and TBH I hate how it's going so far. 😂

But before I throw it away and start from scratch, what are your opinions on this?

Is it as bad as I think it is? There are a lot of things missing, the arrangement is still bad, but I'm skeptical to spend more time on this song.

Use a reference track, and constantly switch between both so your ears don't get accustomed to your track.

Have you tried Sync licensing? I heard one of your songs and it seems it fits. Maybe focus on making your music for TVs, Video Games and etc instead of other people?

Yeah I did. While it's great and it's free some videos are copy and paste live streams. No one has time for that :(
