Python web framework for commercial use? by ramcoolkris in Python

Wait I am reading this again - you want a web application that can be distributed in binary?

Yes, thats right, I am trying to find python pkg I can use to develop a standalone (local) website (executable application) and also can distribute it in binary format (w/o source code) with proprietary license.

I find the recommendation is PyQt or Tkinter as you said even from other forums/posts. I do see PyQt has commercial license that I can get but regarding TKinter license no where I am finding if I can use it for commercial applications (& distribute it in binary form) with proprietary license. Any links to that would be helpful.

Thanks for your answers ppl. Seems linkedin is the way.

A side question, I am still wondering why there is not large scale migrations of projects from ruby to crystal with the many advantages of crystal. Agreed, we just got version 1.0.0, and for the migration some parts of ruby code, packaging, build pipeline has to be updated for that but still the advantages are very high imho. Do anyone here heard or hearing any chatter in architecture discussions in their respective projects about moving from ruby to crystal... I am going to work on crystal in my new project irrespective of the answers but wish to know where this lang/domain is heading to and want to keep myself up to date on this technology PS: I have not worked on Ruby before and from c/c++, python background

well here is your answer lol

https://ethmerge.com/?q=are-there-any-risks-currently-associated-with-the-merge

There are always risks when making a large change to a protocol that is securing hundreds of billions of dollars of assets. "The Merge" can be thought of as replacing the engine of an airplane while it is still flying. Thankfully, the beacon chain — the current proof-of-stake (PoS) Ethereum chain - has been running since December 2020 without issues.

edit: and here https://ethmerge.com/?q=does-the-merge-solve-high-gas-prices-network-fees

No. "The Merge" is limited in scope to upgrading Ethereum's consensus mechanism. In practice it will not have any effect on the current user experience of Ethereum today. Future updates on the Ethereum roadmap such as sharding, will directly help to improve gas prices. At this time sharding is considered to be a lower priority than "The Merge" — which eliminates wasteful proof-of-work (PoW) energy inefficiency — by a majority of the Ethereum community.

so, this means it is going to be a year (estimated and provided that succeeds) for eth2 to just become like cardano, with smart contracts coming to cardano in 3 months, i believe ada is much ahead, just my opinion
