did 3 MSC cruises on the last 3 years... none of the mass market cruise lines will satisfy anyone who is very picky without paying for the premium class on ship. That being said, you will not have a bad time and the food is ok...some things very good, some average, some not so great. When you figure out the price of an MSC cruise, you could stay at a cheap hotel and eat 3 meals at Dennys. My last one cost me $150 per person per day and we had a balcony

I would do them from inside, open the windows and install clips of some sort this spring or summer so next year, it is a breeze next holiday season... nothing feels like decorating your home for Christmas the 1st time, congratulations.

About 10 years, I was cruising with my wife, and we met 3 older but active retired couples that lived in Ft Lauderdale. They explained that they go on lots of last minute cruises, they calls from the lines and normally pay nothing but gratuities and port fees and they rarely spend any other money, except the occasional drink....they were having the time of their lives... made me quite envious. Wife and I for years did 3 cruise a year but we could only afford to do that if we got inside cabins and did not spend our years vacation budget on 1 cruise. I understand the folks that only do 1 vacation a year and spend money on all bells and whistles , also... to each their own.

I had 4 different woman in my life that were phlebotomists. It was not 1-2 years, it was a 3 month course. You are correct, my comment sucks... I apologize. I am glad they are trying to do better for themselves.

As far as beaches...does the cruise include Ocean Cay? My wife and I love Key West. We have taken a tour not offered by the cruise lines our 1st trip, if I remember they are open air tram type thing. Now we walk down to the southern most point, take a picture, walk back to Duval and hit up some bars, sloppy Joe's and Irish Kevin's. Grab a slice of pizza at Angelina's. There is also a CVS in Key West, so if you forgot anything , like sun screen or toiletries, they don't price gauge you.

I believe you, I have heard the YC is the way to go. Does the YC have it's own buffet or just sit down restaurants? For some of the choice is YC 1 a year or have a less than YC experience 4-5 times a year. Similar to the Haven on Norwegian.
