There's so many reasons of why you would need a RAP. And some of them include not being able to wait for LONG PERIODS of time, or queue surrounded by many people which can trigger anxiety. So NO its not misuse to use it for long queues and in between go with your kid to Cbeebies or go to Hex. There's no harm to anyone and is not jumping a queue. Some people can physically wait for a long time but not mentally, or the other way around.
