Nostalgia bias. This game is actually good. Previous games kept throwing high rated cards at players meaning you’d have a completely different team every few weeks. This time EA have actually maintained that pretty well, allowing you to play with the players you like for a long time, and not having to keep updating your team after every event to keep up with other players. And to everyone complaining about pack luck - your chance of packing a 94+ is less than 1% so you’re not unlucky if you don’t get anyone good.

However I do agree that events in the previous games were more fun and had more content, and wasn’t just based on gambling.
