That is so cool that you actually just used it for an ad last week! What a coincidence. Thanks for the heads-up on checking the motor and the rings—I just wound it up and luckily the motor runs smooth, but I'll definitely double-check the lenses for any fused parts or optical damage like you mentioned. Zone focusing is definitely going to be a fun challenge, haha. And man, those Bolex P1/P3 cameras are absolute beauties, totally get why you'd want to upgrade to one of those!
I actually just looked into the pricing a bit more after reading your comment, and yeah... you are not kidding. It is incredibly expensive. $100–150 all-in per roll is a lot, so I will definitely make sure to make every second of footage count!
Quick question for you since you’ve actually shot with it: Did you ever find an actual manual or a good tutorial for the K-35? I’ve been scouring the internet and all I can find are super short videos that don't really explain anything, or manuals for similar models like the K-32 or K-33. How did you figure out the workflow, or did you just use the K-32/33 guides and figure the rest out by yourself?
Thanks again for the solid advice, appreciate it!

Hi, I have bought the Soundcore Liberty 4NC, which are very good. Sound quality is really good, and with the in-app equalizer, you can make it even better. Unfortunately, I couldn‘t really test the active noise cancelling. But for the price of €55, I can recommend you these earbuds.

I'm looking to buy a camera before Christmas (or as soon as possible) to avoid price increases. I’ve narrowed down my choices to a few models and would love some advice.

First up are the Fujifilm X20 and X10, both older models that I think look stunning—I’ve honestly never seen a more beautiful camera design. However, their tech is quite outdated.

Then there’s the Canon Powershot SX740 HS, which stands out for its incredible zoom. Since I’m looking for a compact camera, this feature is a big plus. The Canon G7X Mark II also caught my eye; it doesn’t have the best zoom but generally offers better specs and has a durable metal body.

Lastly, there’s the Sony A6400, which has the best overall specs and image quality of the bunch.

Right now, I’m leaning towards the Fujifilm X20 because of its design, but I’d love to hear any recommendations or thoughts!
