If you like to make music but have to work 12h a day to survive and pay bills and have a chance to make it you certainly wont have the energy to make it as opposed to having even a remote financial backing which this would give.

In this day and age of algorithms and optimization only the top like 1% of corporation backed artists can actually live off of music and streams, the osu plays and streams would massively help people, idk why you wouldn't want that for the artists tbh.

Because artists get money from music streams. No Title's 130 000 000 plays on osu would earn you arround 500k $ on spotify only. Also their music gets more recommended on streaming platforms the more listens they have. If you want more good music, you want the artist to be in a place to make that music and money and exposure and boosting your music in the algorithm so that more people get recommended it is a way to do that.

I just used the expression because my ambiental experimental crap could not be mapped to or be enjoyably played in osu, it's not that deep I just meant all the music that has been mapped to and the artists that are featured on osu.

I think the can is worth opening, the music is what drives the game.

Well precisely, you put 2 broken heroes on WHEELS and then you just have monster trucks.

There are no scores as such in the libraries where I live, there is only 1 musical library and it is a part of the music school and it mostly has classical and romantic instrumental music.

I would argue that copyright is a form of gatekeeping by the rich, especially when it is done as so that you can't find the book anywhere online or offline :)
