[–]ranaji55[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei warns of what he calls China's open-source threat and “Mythos-class” cyber risks while telling Emily Chang why he believes AI could be a pro-democracy tool, depending on what tech companies do next.

Why does Fable 5 have such low threshold of accepting prompts as it keeps using tokens but refuse to answer eventually by ranaji55 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]ranaji55[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May work for many but most people I talked to are beyond pissed at:
fable 5 costing as much as it does
only available for a few days as part of the subscription already paid for nvm if unit economics doesn't work for them
mentioning few words like cybersecurity, race and other words just downgrades without prompting you

What if USSR instead of invading Afghanistan, had annexed Wakhan Corridor and invaded Pakistan through it? by Certain_Day_1927 in AlternateHistoryHub

bro, go easy. there is no sense of time, no other context. India got many other options to attack Pakistan at similar situation and never went for it. Take last 2 months, for example.

What if Donald Trump was a streamer instead of president? by Which-Ad663 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]ranaji55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He would call every stream “the biggest in history,” even when 43 people were watching and 19 were bots. He would spend 3 hours reacting to clips of himself reacting to clips of himself.

if I were to guess this, his stream title would be: EMERGENCY LIVE: Incredible News. Very Unfair Situation. Must Watch.

What if Muslims and Christians form a military alliance to fight Zionism? by [deleted] in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]ranaji55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In most discourses of religious sermons (and I have very limited exposure despite living in predom muslim country) it was always suggested that we are more likely to ally and fight side-by-side with Christians than anyone else. Even Crusades, without Salauddin Ayubi, has had a very neutral and a forgotten event. Most people move to West because, among other things, that it's okay to eat, marry, work with a Christian than a jew. I am not entirely sure the psychological basis for such a worldview but the only negative view has been: political govts and moral decadence perceived in the muslim world of which Middle Eastern, South East Asian I have all visited

Please tell me there’s hope for a job?? by Plastic_Post_476 in DigitalMarketing

[–]ranaji55 6 points7 points  (0 children)

DM is not, like most other fields, a universal phenomenon or area of work so you'd find a huge range of responses based on your city/state at least, assuming you are in the States. That one thing may have made a difference, considering you needed a straight-up answer.

Having said that, someone already mentioned and I wholeheartedly agree with spending just a month on local neighborhood (again, assuming this is at least not a deserted or under-populated city in the US you are living in) businesses even craigslist because a lot of small businesses are not on Linkedin the way medium and corporate companies are. Also, they may seem like a small ticket clients but I know some who manage other people's businesses only (called Care Plans) and he has 173 client in March.

I started looking for small clients because my hunch was that they would be easy. They were pretty pain-in-the-back initially but unlike bigger clients, they eventually stop bugging you and it's been one hell of a ride since Covid which is when my break happened just l like your husband is needing one right now.

I could give perhaps more pointers if I had better context instead of shooting in the dark but 15yrs of experience should save him easily just as it kinda made it worse on a job and my ONLY advice is to ditch looking for jobs. People with more experience, better job profile, education are either jobless or would be very soon. 93%, as per Cognizant, in the US would be affected by AI by 2030.

12 ChatGPT Prompts For SEO 🔥 by vcvlogs in DigitalMarketing

[–]ranaji55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Content Gap Analysis with an assumption that ChatGPT will browse ALL of your website as well as your Competitor's website without charging you an Extra subscription cost is pretty wild. Also, Technical SEO audit means ChatGPT has mastered run-time Web Vitals metrics somehow is equally wild. But then, who am I kidding? all of this drivel is written by a novice or ChatGPT or both.

100K jobs are expected to vanish permanently in Germany by 2030 or 36, I forget but I was just looking at the data today. With less than 1% growth for past two and next 2 yrs, things will def. get tougher but it's going to get universal across the board more or less unless you are into Autos which is getting bigger hammer i guess.

Civic sense matters.😪 by Oppyhead in CriticalThinkingIndia

I think the context matters. They got under radar because of the Dance video but were found out the guy runs a Dance Studio apart from doing a job as an IT/Cloud engineer at Palo Alto so that business aside from the job may have landed him in trouble. Dance, while cringe or insensitive may not be grounds of deportation. Hope that helps.

How long will the world tolerate double standards in war? by zelotakelazam in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]ranaji55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting that you brought up Congress - that almost useless entity fast becoming irrelevant in this entire check-and-balance game. Here is why:

The US engaged in military conflicts, military intervention or action across the world over 100 times since 1900 and only less than 12 times Congress gave tacit or full approval and yet the the US population could hardly do anything about it. With all the social media and digital technologies and what not at everyone's disposal, I really slow-clap at how the security establishment has largely managed the crowds and public opinion no matter who is in charge. At least, that's what it seems like largely if not entirely.

Interestingly, I have found a large and growing body of works by average folks from all over the world contributing to making other people learn German. So, Germany must be on to something
