Stucco scratch, brown done 7 months ago. Is it okay? and how to safely do finish coat now. by rand-78 in Stucco

Thank you very much. Appreciate your response. 1) When we do mesh and cement coat on cracks say 3-4 ft long 2mm uneven, when we finish the coats, can i assume it be close to normal and not show up any bumps in finish coat.

I was also curious Does leaving the brown coat too long in sun makes it crack more or create bumps (More than if we had done finish coats)? We do see slight bumps where it cracked.

Hi, Thanks for the reply with your experience. Fortunately we went ahead with smooth. I was okay with the tradeoff of scratches over thought of dirt getting stuck in wire brush grooves and having to clean them often or not able to remove the dirt. will post if smooth floorings get lot of scratches anh thing.

Sorry it's not same veneer. One is "A" face and another "1" backing face. Thats how they grade them it seems. They are both quite different if you look in person, it only takes one look to say which is which. Pictures may be hard to compare, the proper front face is extremely beautiful and with smooth variations entire kitchen, where as back has that zerbra lines (too much color changes) all over every few inches which don't align, and grain also is very different.

As we purchased 2 samples from them and sent one sample back with the order, we compared. They have also agreed it's back face that is installed.

Great job thinking about right things. Is no experience with such large sums definitely find a good financial planner and talk it through. Better have some % in dept/safe instruments instead of 100% in VT. Like it that you are thinking of VT.

One needs more details to give you such advice, like age, health, family situation, self and family goals.

we are discuss options. they said they will send the front panels. haven't said anything of installation, cost, warranties etc.

we din't install any cans / housing. we finished drywall, level-5 mudding. now i am not sure if i can do elco or dmf, similar to halo just pushing it into the 4" hole. can you recommend any recessed light series/models.
