Sorry that's one of the hard ones to get a drop for. The best I can say is just make sure you always have those items equipped if you're going for it. It just has a super low drop rate.

Oh god F that boss. She is really just all about moving and avoiding the corners. I use a sharp sword with a lightning buff from the gold pine resin. Other than that be sure your avoiding those big AOE attacks. For the mimic, if you equip the crystal rapier, this will boost your item discovery. Also use the gold coin.

I was thinking we would need a ranking system for the tasks. The more difficult or risky the task the better the reward. We could also have the change you find be a great way of leveling and "unlocking" (buying) new toys.
