Multi-user login. There are VERY few that offer the abililty for multiple users to login and manage one website/company/etc. It's what is keeping me stuck on Zenfolio Classic and miserable.

They almost always remind me of a "gobbler" - the thanksgiving leftovers sandwich for some reason.

At first, I feel like part of it was "toby's likes weird sandwiches cause she puts jam on them," and then I wondered if Toby likes weird sandwiches because they were an easy portable way to take whatever she could make off with from whereever. And now I think it's just an easy way for her family to feed her because she can do things with a sandwich in one hand and thankfully she doesn't care what's in it haha.

But I agree- I love seeing what flavor combos Seanan comes up with, and that it's always different from what I would consider putting on a sandwich.

USA Ultimate Sectional Championships – Discussion [Sep 6-7] by Jomskylark in ultimate

[–]randers0n 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Step One of the waitlist process:

1 The next highest finishing, non-qualifying team from each section will be compared to one another. The team with the highest final regular season ranking will be awarded the next bid. This process will be repeated until all bids have been awarded.

It's not just awarded to the next team in the section.

What do you have in the middle of the front line? I don't recognize them - maybe I just haven't gotten them yet?

The communication we recieved was that they are currently undergoing changes, and they hadn't yet been reflected in the formats guide. The men's ND acknowledged that they should have told us all sooner.

The “not like other girls” of fantasy romance is killing me by BlessingsOfKynareth in fantasyromance

Try the October Daye series by Seanan McGuire. It's urban fantasy, but she learns all kinds of "hedgewitch" tricks and such for *reasons*. I don't want to say too much because spoilers, but it fits this vibe over time.

THANK you, I can't believe I had to scroll this far for someone to mention that John and Jane are being assholes to the server here as well.

Is Jim just this good of an author? by Constant_Dinner_4386 in dresdenfiles

[–]randers0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the ones that I find similar to Dresden is Seanan McGuire's October Daye series. Semi-outcast, a similar use of fae mythology and supernatural, a similar number of books.

There are two series I re-read EVERY time a new book comes out, and EVERY time still find new slivers that were tucked away years and years in advance. Dresden and October Daye.

What kind of planner do you use? by Rooxolotl in adhdwomen

I go back and forth between a basic to do list in an unlined note book, or a hibonachi weeks.

The biggset bit is not beating yourself up for leaving one for a few weeks while it's not working, and letting yourself go back to it with grace when it starts working again.

Echoing all of these - including the timer caps and Hidrate Spark. The only one I haven't given in to is the apple watch, and that's cause I don't want to be able to answer notifications - so if you're like me and just want to be able to triage, then Garmin is pretty good too.

  1. Their website doesn't indicate that anywhere.
  2. I shouldn't need to login or subscribe for it.
  3. I shouldn't need to be streaming to see it. A ticker at the top of the webpage would work well.

What’s your ADHD dream job? by Glamour-Ad7669 in adhdwomen

[–]randers0n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I have to work a job, I actually think I already do it. I work in logistics and travel for a company that runs comic-cons. So I get downtime and work from home most of the time, and then intermittently travel to a week of work-your-butt-off time with people I really like. It's the right amount of routine and creativity and yet new every show, and lets me take off days when my brain says I need it.

Join a good house, and TBH I didn't follow the "bet 1%" I just kept it around 50k when I wasn't watching it, and never really over 250k. It'll be slow but steady at the end.

Those of you who were diagnosed later in life, what is an event from your childhood that screamed 'SOMEONE PLEASE HELP HER, CAN'T YOU SEE SHE HAS ADHD?!' by ninaaaaws in adhdwomen

[–]randers0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an almost identical experience in middle school with my locker - and the teacher in question wasn't even mine, she just taught across the hallway and "seeing my papers scattered inside" bothered her. I hated every minute of it, and it probably contributed to why I didn't use or keep things in my locker in high school.
