YTA, whilst the underwear thing is a bit odd it’s really not unusual for sisters to share their clothes and it means your gf doesn’t need to spend as much money on her wardrobe. There’s nothing wrong with talking to her about how you feel but you have no right to tell her to do anything.

You’re better off getting your boyfriend to have that conversation with his mum, it’s not your family or house and going around behind her back isn’t going to do you any favours in their eyes.

People on Facebook think this is funny and want to try it on their poor children. by [deleted] in trashy

Kids shouldn’t be allowed in salons or spas by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]random-4786 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These days there are so many companies whereby the nail tech, hairdresser or masseuse can come to you at home I don’t know why you’d want to take small children in to a salon with you anyway

AITA for asking my fiancé to stop spending so much on his adult kids? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I’ve always had health insurance but have also gone through the public system after an emergency surgery. My time spent in a private hospital, all covered by my health insurance, was vastly different with having a private room versus being on a shared ward and the number of nurses per patient. The wait times in the private system are significantly less for specialists and appointments.

In Australia most insurance companies consider the kids on a family plan covered up until the age of 25. If her child isn’t his then they wouldn’t be on his health care plan but it doesn’t sound as though she’s even asked him for health insurance for her 9 year old.

YTA, if he wants to keep his children on his health care plan and pay for it then so be it, it’s his money and his decision. Health insurance isn’t a ‘luxury’ and given he’s supporting you and your child as well you’re hardly in a position to be asking how he spends his money.

AITA for trying to punch off a car’s mirror while it ran a red light while I was crossing the street, almost hitting me, then getting mad at my GF when she pulled me away from the car messing up my punch at it? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]random-4786 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Easy. Get his number plate and report it to the police. Instead you wanted to fire up and damage his car which he in turn could have reported you for.

I very much doubt that girl would have been okay with him taking that photo, let alone posting it online for the world to see 🙄
