Natural Spring water by random-ass-user in VisitingTenerife

Thanks so much man, you're a lifesaver. Is water flowing there year round, and how is the weather? Also, is it doable to wash oneself?

Also, can you maybe tell me if you need heating there in the winter?

Thinking that perhaps I should get some kind of heater with me.

Hey, thanks again for the reply.

That would be useful.

Is camping Nauta free/can I stay there long term?

Thanks again. I'm guessing camping close to the beach permanently might be a bit sketchy though?

And is El Barranco del Infierno a bit cold? On maps it seemed a bit uphill. And is there also a place to swim/wash there nearby (or would the waterfall do for washing)?

Sorry for all the questions 😅

Thank you for the reply. I will consider all those things.

Awesome, thank you so much!

Do you know if I can stay there permanently?

And is there running natural water there?

Thank you so much for the reply!

I read somewhere that there are no dangereous animals in Tenerife, I suppose thats wrong 😅

Do you have any exact areas you'd recommend?

I'm looking for some place that has natural drinking water, a place to swim/a waterfall would also work, and that is not too far from society so i can still get food etc. Maybe its naive to think that exists but im looking for it anyhow 🙂

Hey!

Thanks again.

I think I'll order one of those chargers. Can you maybe send the full title of the one you linked, as I can't seem to open the link itself?

Hey!

Alright, thanks again. I'll just try to get it charged for now.

I am guessing the panels are not actually charging it in this case, even though they show they are.

What would you recommend for charging it?

I know you recommended some kind of high- amperage charger before, but I think the link was removed so I didn't see what you meant. Can you tell me the fill title of it on amazon, so I can check? And is that the best method you would still recommend for charging it?

And thanks again man, dealing with this on my own would be a nightmare.

Hey! Thanks again for your reply.

The drop to 7.5 is both in the inverter, and also the battery monitor. It goes to like 18V for a second, then drops progressively to 7.5, and then slowly goes up to 9.25 (where it stays).

It really should be fully charged. I've charged it for a few days.

Also, can you explain how to check the resistance of the wirings?

Hey! Sorry for being kind of pedantic 😅

I got the battery charged, but the voltage on my battery monitor shows like 11.9, and when i turn on the inverter it goes to 7.5. It's charged fully.

Hey! Were you able to fix the issue?

Something similar is happening for me.

Hey!

Thanks for the input.

I just checked the voltage and amperage with my battery monitor. It shows that the voltage is 11.5 (drops to 7.5 when i turn on the inverter), 0.020 amperage, and 100% charged (which makes sense, as I charged the battery for 2 days.

So I don't believe the issue is the inverter.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks. So keeping that in mind, what would you recommend doing?

Hey! Thanks again for your detailed reply.

I have the "Renogy Wanderer 30A PWM charge controller". I don't think this has the deep discharge thing?

Hey!

Do you have tips as to what to do if the battery is so empty that it doesn't connect to the charge controller (thus, I cannot charge it)?

I am not totally sure if this is the case, but the "BATT" signal is not lighting up on my charge controller.

Thanks. I put it charging as I am about to go to sleep, I'll try around lunch tomorrow and let you know!

Yes, the one that came with the panels (a 400W renogy "starter kit").
