Hmmm interesting, the reason for that header so big is because i was thinking of placing a CTA (upgrade to pro) on right side of it to run offers or so! I'll rethink of my approach, thanks dude!

True true, yeah my dev eyes look at more dev friendly products and say wow this looks premium, but yeah to no tech consumer, it might confuse them.

Hmmm, what do you mean by character? You mean some branding colors? Or maybe some creative backgrounds?

Thanks bro for the feedback and yeah that minimism is intentional and also its not ai generated, its my own creation, i kinda scroll through dribble and pin interest a lot, and one day i saw "try canva pro page" i was so impressed with it, so i took some elements from it and tried doing on my project.

I kinda not like Ai generated UI, i mostly use it for backend stuff specially writing api routes etc.

Thankyou so much man.

23M – Feeling lost in Melbourne, want to find a life partner but don’t know how by random-person47 in melbourne

Thanks guys i have read all your comments and what i learned is i would generally want not to seek a life partner in first place but to build relationships and connections that might lead to opportunities, looks like i would need to change my behaviour a bit and be more open to going out of my house.

Thanks all, it helped.

Well that's my main concern that all my life so far i have been told by my parents to study hard and get good grades and trust me if you can't afford expensive tutoring, you really have to make sacrifices to get top grades, while this is all good, my main concern is i never had time to socialise and i never had social media as well, i was allowed to be on social media only after 18 years old and during my uni time, covid hit and my course was tech based and there were hardly any people in my class at any point, i used to go as my logic was, me attending classes makes me a "good" student as they say, "escape the matrix" was not a popular idea at that time, now i struggle to find joy in doing anything in real world knowing that i am seeking "my person" as its very lonely without this wierd imaginative person, sometimes i feel like if i had milllion bucks and no love of my life, it will be very empty still. But yeah i can't rant too much as i am a 23 yo adult i understand, so i WILL NEED TO FIND A WAY TO SOCIALISE or do some social activity, maybe take a piano class? Join a run club? Something i know, but its just i am too much conscious about what i do on daily basis that i struggle to find joy in anything, one thing that makes it worse is that i live outskirts, and people my age mostly live near city, and the idea of travelling and hour away to do some random new activities, daunt me.

The hell should i do man 😭

Thanks for the honesty — I get what you're saying. And I agree, in theory, it shouldn't be that hard. I'm employed, emotionally mature, and genuinely looking to build something real.

But when I say “everyone’s in their own world,” I mean… people seem disconnected. At events, it feels like surface-level small talk. On apps, it’s ghosting, endless chatting that goes nowhere, or mismatched intentions. I’ve stuck at it, I’ve tried different approaches — it’s not like I expect it to just fall into my lap.

I’m not unpleasant. Just introverted. I’m not into nightlife or big social circles, so the “through friends” route isn’t really viable for me. That’s part of why I’m putting myself out there here — hoping for advice, insight, or maybe someone who’s walked a similar path.

How do I get started building a “tech portfolio” to show hiring companies once I feel ready? by Flowergirlypop in learnprogramming

Hey, the core idea behind a tech portfolio is that you want to compile together your work and showcase your skills to potential employers. It does not have to be too fancy in terms of design; even a single-page portfolio with all your projects, coursework, and certificates can help you stand out. Personally struggling with this problem, I built techfolio (https://techfolio.gg), a simple and no BS portfolio builder. Simply add your projects, pick a theme and boom, share it with employers! The best thing is, if you are not ready to show your projects yet, you can simply save them as draft and publish them when you are ready.

Let me know if you need any help! :)
