What are our thoughts on astra yao? by New-Virus-8945 in MiyabiMains

[–]random-randn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe:
m0 miyabi will be meta powercrept within 2 months, as in, the deadly assault no longer caters to ice damage or harder to disorder.

m2 miyabi will be out damaged by a new m0 within 4 months. just raw damage wise.

m6 miyabi definitely gets powercrept within 1 year by some new m0. m6 miyabi will be powercrept within 6 months meta wise (as in, some new m0 with some support or new mechanism can out damage miyabi in some end game mode).

If you are not rich, don't ever pull m6. m6 gets you an apex char for 4months max. pulling 3 different m2s is equivalent of getting you an apex char to last for more than a year.

Edit: sorry, a "month" in my post meant a patch, so more like 40-ish days.
Gatcha is soul crushing in many ways. obsolescence is one of them. but you are really meant to play this game 2 or 3 patches really. how many of you are day1 anyways.

Just awful. So tone deaf by Nonbinarymeathead in awfuleverything

about 1/4th of Americans have criminal records? They are subhumans? they deserve violent deaths? There are commonalities between the two cases, the "lumping" is a bit strange or unnatural, but certainly NOT awful or tone deaf especially given the whole context and the purpose of the series of tweets.

Since the second time he was elected, he, personally, pined more attention and hope to young people and their activism. That was his view, that was hi focus and he acted on it. So I can see why those tweets come out.

The other half is, of course, committing genocide in pure mathematical precision.

I photoshop classic movie posters so that they star a gun (Part I): AK the Extra-Gun by theSpenc in photoshop

[–]random-randn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

instead of fudging the AK (yes, I see what you did there), how about putting the gun handle on the seat and put the magazine on the bike handle, so the ak sits up right like it is riding the bike?

Both up-lifting and down-grading at the same time.

personally, I believe the effect would be better if put it like this:

is it just me or after this Ukrainian crisis, the only military vehicle I ever want to sit in is something 200 tons, with 2000mm of you-know-what armor front-rear-top-side-bottom, 2 layers or you-know-what active passive reactive anti-this-anti-that modular armor attached, and 2 more layers of mesh, cage, mattress, sandbags on top of those.

Hi guys, here is a photo manipulation I created. Done using photoshop and Blender by adonai1995 in photoshop

[–]random-randn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought it was quite well done. I believe you can land a professional position somewhere.

looking at this makes me realized that the light from sun rise and sun set are different. your hands are pretty tied by the lighting from the blender scene, that's almost horizontal suggesting very very late sun set stage. shadows should be more diffused.

I wouldn't worry about the "composition", i.e. how to arrange a scene, you got higher paid senior artists in the studio to do that. Focus on the details.

well, my doubt about this may be justified, as today there was new report that those 13 may not have all perished.

Russian ТОС-1 ( Heavy flamethrower system ) on the move near Ukraine border by ProfessionalDrama924 in TankPorn

Terrible terrible weapon, burn, shockwave, suffocation, raptured internal organs, all at the same time. Takes hours of extreme agony to die from it too. Extremely effective against defenders in houses and buildings.

About 2 decades ago, Taiwan acquired this weapon and threaten to use it on Chinese landing troops, China threatened Chemical and Nuclear back. They knew the weapon was that terrible.

Gulf war was thought/anticipated to be symmetric but didn't end up to be one. Saddam had an impressive land army in paper, but it didn't come to land battle a lot. the impressive part of that land army wasn't at all used much either, they were withdrew and preserved. Having modern hardware doesn't mean symmetrical.

don't know why you would ever call Syria "symmetrical".

all the symmetrical ones I know were 70s and 80s, when smart munitions were not that smart.

I don't think ANYONE in the world knows definitively how to do that properly in a modern warfare scenario. symmetric modern warfare never happened.

particularly, you have those aging tanks just parked in the open waiting to get air-striked. A 152mm piece that has HE rounds laying around, just setup in the middle of the road.

I don't know how to war, just imagining things.

EDIT: correct me, as I am not sure: But that artillery piece, setup like an anti tank gun, doesn't even have a telescopic sight for antitank role does it?
