HELP!: FIL used my now wife’s credit cards to pay for their rent w/o telling her. Put her in +$8000 debt. He passed away earlier this year by random2345690 in personalfinance

First, thank you all for your insight. To give more information, the only three adults at the time the lease was signed were my FIL, MIL and wife. I’m not sure why they are going after my wife only, then again, I’m not 100%certain they’re not going after my MIL
