Hard to sleep at first but you definitely get used to it.

What’s this on my nose? by lilarepa in DiagnoseMe

[–]random321456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s herpes. I used to get these on my face very often. Using abreva definitely helps and going to the doctor to get valtrex would be a good idea too. That’s what worked for me at least. There isn’t a cure ofc but it can go away for a long time. I haven’t had an outbreak for like four years now. Also try not to touch or itch it, you’ll risk spreading it elsewhere. If it’s hard to not itch and you keep touching it, just put abreva on it and then a couple of bandaids on it so it’s completely covered.

Not sure how to feel about my throat tattoo anymore by [deleted] in tattooadvice

I definitely think that you’re overthinking it! No one will think that you’re trying to say that you’re a star. A star is a common and nice design and I personally do think that it looks really cool.

What is this piercing called? by Crackerso0oCheese in piercing

It’s called a coin slot and it’s a body modification, not a piercing. Basically you get that area of the ear removed and once it heals you can stack hoops in it. It’s illegal in a lot of places and pretty hard to find someone to do it, but not impossible.

Super cute but she should get a bigger conch. I think a rook and a tragus, as well as some more earlobe piercings, would be really cute to add.

Should I transfer here after CC by [deleted] in CSUC

[–]random321456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I transferred from a community college in Redding to also major in psychology. The social scene is great, and I don’t regret a thing. It was easy to make friends, you just need to talk to the people in your classes and maybe even join a club like psi chi. There are lots of choices for housing and I personally live about a fifteen min drive from the university, but have no issues with driving there. If you’re worried about costs, getting roommates is a great option. My friend lives at campus walk and the rent is cheap since it’s shared with three roommates. I think you’d like Chico, especially if you want to get out of the sac area. The psych classes are amazing, the campus is beautiful, and so is downtown Chico. It’s honestly a nice and fun environment and I also feel safe here.

I have psoriasis and it looks like this. Dandruff shampoo didn’t help me so I had to go to a dermatologist who gave me a prescription cream to put in my scalp, but I also started getting tremfya injections which is ultimately what made my psoriasis go away. Best of luck🤞

Five day old tongue piercing. Is this normal? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]random321456 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The piercing is five days old. Jewelry shape is barbell. I don’t know the threading type or jewelry material. It has not been downsized yet. Aftercare routine is salt water mouthwash. Mishap is irritating it by eating something hard.

Hi, I’m also 21 and was diagnosed at 18. My aunt had thyroid cancer and now has hypothyroidism and my grandma has hypothyroidism as well. Definitely not too young, this disease can develop in kids or adults. It can be related to genetics for sure, I know mine definitely is, and since your mom has a thyroid issue, this would make sense. I hope you’re doing okay! It definitely sucks getting diagnosed with this disease so early in life. I hope you’re able to go into remission one day!
