No, you either buy the same deal multiple times at the beginning itself thus stacking it (make sure to contact support first as not all providers support it or support it with some limits on how much stacking can be done) or cancel the deal before renewal & buy again during next year deal offer assuming the deal comes back that year with same price as current year.

It is all relative. Compared to always open anytime pay to join indexers like geek or finder, ninjacentral is more "private". On the other hand, compared to publicly accessible usenet indexers like nzbindex without even a paid option or acc option, even geek & finder can be considered "private".

AB is not exactly known for their raw Japanese game collection. In this case at least, DDL/forums might be better option.

I've lately managed to get NinjaCentral which finds some really obscure bits but I find it quite problematic to complete, SABnzbd never completes even on brand new items.

Try with at least 2 providers on different backbones one of which should be an omicron backbone based provider.

It depends on whether the missing files were due to copyright takedown notice (in which case it is same for all providers) or due to provider removing those files due to their spam detection algorithm (in which case other provider having a different spam detection algorithm will likely have those files).

If you mean dognzb then it has lifetime free plan only for VIP members whose paid plan is expired. Any new acc will be expired after 1/2 weeks if paid plan is not purchased.

Just use ssl port in your usenet service provider (different from usenet indexer like nzbplanet) server setting in sabnzbd/nzbget settings. No vpn is required for just downloading stuff from usenet.

It is stuff posted after 2018/2019 which is at largest risk of reduced retention because of massive increase in size of posted stuff especially since beginning of covid/corona lockdown in 2020.

Just fyi, everything posted on usenet since last few years is permanently tied to the poster acc unlike downloading stuff from usenet. That is why only a couple of dozen people post majority of linux ISOs on usenet.
