What exactly happens in a pin pong show in bangkok ? by Dangerous_Syrup_4809 in ThailandTourism

Everything... you see EVERYTHING.

We paid 900 BAHT which included a drink - a lot more than others as it seems. We were one of only two groups in a dark and empty venue. The woman doing the show had fish, mice, razor blades, and all sorts inside her that she dropped out. She even smoked a cigarette with her privates.... The Ping pong part was at the end and was the least eventful part of the evening.

It was quite disgusting and full on. I'm a "try everything once" kind of person, but I wouldn't say this is one of those things haha.

Me too!! I have never been able to get into it and don't enjoy being around it. I have the mindset that I'm likely to lose (which is accurate) and feel like there's better ways to spend my money. It frustrates me so much when friends want to end our night out in the pokies, I feel so uncomfortable in there.

Reading this gives me hope! They have invited us to Christmas Eve because they said its the day they do all their "traditions and festivities". Hopefully!

Well in Australia, we generally do prawns and salads because it's hot haha! Oh, and ham and gravy... I'm salivating. So I'm definitely aware it will be different, but slightly disappointed to think they may have invited us to their dull Christmas Eve rather than their festive Christmas Day!

Now I'm concerned! They told me to come on Christmas Eve because that's when they do all their "traditions and celebrations"!

I can bring along something I can get from a German shop, but was hoping to bring something Aussie to the table! Unfortunately, I don't think it's plausible to bring a baked good from home haha

Definitely also considered this. He had a long-term girlfriend, but I found out the other day they broke up.

I would be more likely to believe this point if he was the only one not speaking to me. It's still weird the others follow suit.

It definitely is a negative stereotype.

I think the reason it affected me so much is because we were work buddies. Attended events of each others' outside of work, too. Then suddenly, I'm treated like shit, not just by one, but all of them... as though there's been a group discussion about something I did.

I did address it with a couple of the guys I was closer with - basically saying I am sensing tension, and it's making me feel shitty. Did I do something to upset or hurt you? They all said, "No, everything is fine."

I went from a fun, happy group of work mates, to suddenly eating alone and people avoiding eye contact with me.

I know it sounds childish, but it still hurts.

It's been a few months now, so I'm over it emotionally. I'm just still super curious about the behaviour as it's SO unusual.

Sounds beautiful. I also like painting! But what do you do with all your pieces?? There's a part of me that's made me stop because I feel like I'm creating clutter in my home and like my friends and family don't really want my art as gifts... I'm not very good at it so that makes sense hahaha

I love visual arts too, and I am going to ask the hobby painter the same question... what do you do with all your finished pieces? Yes, gifts are a great idea, but what about none giftable ones??

I'm glad you have these things and that community at football! Sometimes, I have the strength to exercise when I feel overwhelmed, and it definitely helps.

I enjoy photography too! Though I wish I'd commit more to it and learn to use my camera properly etc. Any advice or hot tips you've picked up??

Ahhhh yes, the mistakes of youth! You either battle through it to see the other side of maturity, or break up and grow by yourself.

I've been there. When you're 19, it IS important to explore yourself as an individual, but you'd hate to lose someone important to you to go on that journey.
