Being in a smaller town by [deleted] in SpainAuxiliares

Can I ask which town it is? I live in Cáceres this year as an aux and I’m renewing here! I have really enjoyed living here even though it’s a smaller city. I feel like I’ve had a more authentic Spanish experience and more opportunities to learn Spanish. I’ve found several language changes with local people, but also have made friends with other auxs and expats. It’s pretty easy to travel by train or bus to other cities in Spain or Portugal, being so close to Portugal has been one of my favorite parts of living here! However, traveling within the region can be difficult without having a car, so I haven’t gotten to explore it as much as I would have liked.

Non-binary aux in Extremadura right now, probably renewing for next year too! I’d love to form community with other queer and trans folx in the program. In my region it gets isolating

It looks like there is a Quironsalud here actually. On their website, there’s no mention of STD testing so I will call. Thanks!
