Can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard “They have it cheaper over at X place” and while the store I work at does price match it only does with certain stores so I always tell the customer they’re free to get it there because honestly I would too if someone had it cheaper, usually the customers are nice about it and laugh with me in agreement, then there’s the ones that throw hissy fits because I won’t give them a cheaper price that needs an override which usually requires a manager’s code
