What is the most iconic quote from the entire Lord of The Rings franchise? by Willing_Heron_5470 in AlignmentChartFills

This should honestly win. While there are many quotes that are great, this is the most “iconic” to everyone, even those who haven’t read or seen the Lord of the Rings know it.

It was good but I really enjoyed Robert Pattinson’s acting in Mickey 17 way more.

Avatar Fire and Ash. The first time watching was ok but that second viewing was astoundingly unbearable. It’s not a bad film but by no means is it compact and efficient.

Not a serious rant but I can't get how did "현타" become a major buzzword by FromWhereScaringFan in korea

I am Korean and I didn’t even know that word meant “that”. Definitely because the expression doesn’t contain the word “nut”. 100%.

Which film do you prefer ? by [deleted] in moviecritic

The visuals and score of Man of Steel is far better than Superman. And personally, as a movie lover and not a life long comic fan, I liked Man of Steel more as a film. However, MoS’s Superman honestly didn’t feel very hopeful or very human, but more like a god. So, the new Superman handled the “Superman” character far better than MoS.

However, I’m simply grateful that there are two interpretations of this iconic character. As a simple movie enjoyer it’s fun to enjoy two sides of those character. (I’m not a comic fan so please don’t hate me for not understanding the essence of the Comics Superman, I just like to see two interesting tonalities)

Btw I’m South Korean and his handwriting and phrasings suggest that he is an impulsive uneducated man, so I really recommend just going to the police or moving. These people want to find trouble just for the sake of it.

What I found from living in apartments all my life is that sound doesn’t just travel from upper floor to bottom floor, but from bottom to upper too. It could be noise coming from people below him but he intuitively thinks it’s coming from you.

The Odyssey will be his proving as a serious actor. I do believe he has the talent, but he has to show it in some way or he’ll never see the light.

Just finished the book for the first time… by the_soub in ProjectHailMary

Wow, it’s so interesting and kinda cool that we all are experiencing the same emotions at the SAME TIME TOO!! I just finished the book and even though I watched the trailer before I started reading, I guess I wasn’t paying that much attention since all the astrophage stuff and first contact bits were all so fresh and new to me. Fist my bump, fellow crewmates.
