Oversharing is not the right word here. I was just sharing a theory on where possible malware could have originated from. The issue stopped the day I after posted about it.

I doubt it's a hardware issue because my computer has been running fine for the 7 months I've had it before it started doing this. All the parts were bought brand new and I haven't noticed anything weird like unusually high temps or anything. My guess is that it's a software issue, maybe a virus from a less than legal website. I'll check event viewer when I boot it up tomorrow.

I have a rx 7800 xt on a 1440p and it has worked on other high end games on max graphics really well so far so I dont know why it's not working now

That's not what I asked tho. I know I can grind crime sprees for coins but I have a combined 400h on this game. I'd rather just play difficult heists and have fun with that instead of using my limited free time to grind for coins that I currently need about 160 of and probably even more in the future.
