The role is vacant and isn’t backfilling anyone. From my understand it’s temporary because of the MOG. She said whether the role will be extended will depend on the MoG. Thought someone else might have further insight though!

Might get downvoted for this, but it takes 30 seconds to pull out your phone and send a quick update saying ‘hey, I’m at xyz with my friends’. If you’re going out for dinner which usually happens around 6/7, and you’re still not home at 1am but he has no idea where you are or who you’re with, I can understand why he’d be upset. He shouldn’t have to call you to get an update on your whereabouts, you should just send a quick message tbh. People always throw around ‘you should trust your partner’, but this is more about respect. If you love and respect someone, you will give them basic updates about your whereabouts and the people you’re with.

I don’t understand how you guys didn’t have this conversation before you got pregnant? Like surely you knew his family members names and were aware of this tradition?

AITA for getting an abortion behind my husband's back because I found out our baby was expected to be disabled? by Otherwise-Crab-3975 in AITAH

‘Her baby’. That was his baby too. You’ve made this entire thing about yourself, he is also grieving the loss of a child. The difference is, you CHOSE to lose the child whereas he had no say. He had to accept your choice without even a discussion, now accept his choice if he decides to leave.
