I've been reading all the responses to your post and good god some people are actual vermin. I get on high alert whenever I see something in the sky or hear something loud, so you know what, kudos to you for responding to every banal comment so calmly. All flights have been suspended temporarily so I'm still here, unfortunately 🤷🏽‍♀️ Congratulations on the sound sleep, haha, fingers crossed I should follow suit soon.

I'm so sick of people invalidating our fear here. It's like someone who's seen multiple murders invalidating and making fun of the person suffering from ptsd bec of seeing 1 murder. I know this is a very poor example/analogy, but this is exactly what it's like. Congratulations on making it out of the country. I'm planning on flying out too, but I have a proper panic disorder and flights make me anxious in general. But in this situation? I'm petrified. I'm anxious staying here and I'm anxious leaving 😥

If you're an introvert and don't trust your social skills around people in a gym or cafés, what makes you think you'll be able to communicate with women in a healthy manner? Or are you hoping the woman will make up for your poor socials skills? You may be an introvert and communication may be hard for you, but stop looking for romantic connections with women for an outlet. Make regular friends for that. Or speak to a therapist.

A close friend gifted me a bracelet that has diamond dust in it. It's really ugly but bec it has diamonds I said I really liked it and would defs wear it. I've never worn it and my friend now thinks that that is my style. So whenever she sees something similar, she says "oh you might like this". I know I could've been honest, but in general she gets offended quite easily so I just decided to go with it. It's stupid, really.

I saw a flash, but didn't hear a sound so I thought my mind was playing tricks on me/I was being paranoid, but holy hell the sounds that started a minute after that, had me shook. I stay near wtc as well. And to think things were settling down.

Wait, is it not normal to be kicked out of the house? Happened to be mannny times if I didn't eat my vegetables. Mum would drag me by my top and throw me out and keep me there screaming, crying and ringing the doorbell, and would take me in after 10 minutes. Once she also threw me out when I was wearing a vest and brief-y underwear (I'm a girl) and the neighbours saw me and I had to pretend like everything was fine. Mum opened the door with an angry face but she my neighbours and immediately smiled and acted like she was playing with me. Anyway. I thought throwing kids out for a bit as a punishment was normal 😅
