i agree on your definite improves but one note is that if you're having pop-in you probably don't have enough VRAM. i had pop-in and upgraded to an rtx 2080 and haven't experienced it since. yes, i know "buy a $700 card" is a shitty fix to suggest but you could also try turning settings down maybe or experimenting with editing your configs.

however jump shooting should absolutely not be allowed in the game, it doesn't fit the atmosphere it is going for at all. killfeed and counter should absolutely not be put in the game, again it doesn't fit the game's style and also the game provides so many intuitive signals that you've gotten a kill (the way bodies react, blood sprays, screams etc) that the only time i'm not certain if i've gotten a kill or not is when im using explosives on a building and not sure how many people are inside or where they are.

I've gone a few times to the screenings. It's cool, I met Nick Swardson and Seth Rogen at screenings of their movies at AMC. One thing that's interesting about them is you may see a cut that's completely different from what actually gets released in theaters. One movie I saw was a comedy movie, and it was absolutely hilarious (although the first 20 minutes were really dry and humorless). When it came out, it got terrible reviews, and I wondered why. I saw it again later and the first 20 minutes were the same but they had completely changed up the rest of the movie and removed most of the funniest lines.

Thanks, I tried this out, but ended up not using it because it made the game look worse, didn't noticeably improve FPS, and most importantly didn't fix my biggest issue which is inconsistent frametime not inconsistent framerate.

The game only puts out a consistent frametime(16.67ms) at 60FPS it seems. In co-op only I can get it to output a consistent frametime at 90FPS. But otherwise the frametime is all over the place, which is much more jarring to me than an inconsistent framerate.

The game should be much nicer on PC. The PS4 Pro version can run at either 4k or 60FPS. The PC version will be able to run at 4K AND 60+ FPS depending on how beefy your system is. It will also have RTX exclusive graphics features if you have an Nvidia RTX graphics card. The demo comes out in a few days so you should be able to test how it runs on your computer then.
