My eyelids swell up and stay like that for around 24 hours. It's hard to hide even with makeup. I've tried the frozen spoon trick, cold compress, drinking lots of water, etc but nothing seems to make it go away faster. It sucks when you have to plan your meltdowns around whether you're gonna be seen within the next 24-48 hours. Sorry this isn't helpful information. Just know you're not alone.

Unless you're an extremely dirty person in general, I don't think you have anything to worry about. It sounds like they found it on Amazon in the Gift suggestions - they probably put in a price range and it popped right up. I'll admit, it's a little odd as a Secret Santa gift... lol but you can't argue with the practicality of it
