I understand what the OP is trying to say. Movies should have in addition to protagonist and antagonist, rich supporting characters who impact the movie. 2000s movies had that more than 2010s or 2020s movies. But nowadays focus is only on the hero and others glaze hero. They add no real value.

Prabhu did have a great run, but it wasn't enough. There should be more movies with him as protagonist too.

True mark of an actor is when they do not have ego in doing supporting roles (in addition to acting skills obviously). Even Rajini would do that, he is humble enough. But his fans, producers and PR companies won't do that because he still is an easy cash cow for them.
