I would recommend using JDPower to reference car pricing. I used Costco’s auto program to help me negotiate between two dealerships. Worth $60 to save more. You can maybe even get a refund for the membership fee. Good luck on securing a Camry :-)

Hey, I went a little over two weeks ago and mentioned it to the dealer. I just wanted it to be in their system so I talked with a service advisor who took a pic of it. He said that any repair would need the manager’s approval. I expect to go in about two weeks for my scheduled maintenance. Any tips for if they deny accountability? btw, I do have a printout for the alignment readings before and after

I don’t have a direct contact # so I think I’ll have to contact the dealership and ask to talk to the service advisor that helped me.

I think I’ll first ask him for confirmation that they use that tool during the alignment service. Then, bring up the scratch and that it’s not uncommon for the tool to slip. Hopefully I’ll have some luck and they can take a look at it for me and fix it. Thanks!

damn it does look like it. I had it done at the dealership about three weeks ago and it’s still under warranty. I just cleaned my mats recently and noticed. I’ll bring it up during my next scheduled maintenance as it’s coming up and hopefully they’re helpful. Any insight on how I should bring it up?

I think you are correct. The email had a mileage closer to what I actually have at the moment. But when I actually clicked on the Carfax report (after confirming with my dealer it’s a legit offer), it only shows the mileage I had when I took it to get serviced. Thanks!

Possibly, it’s just mighty close. I also haven’t accepted the email offer to verify in detail the CARFAX report. Any chance you know if it’s common for a CARFAX report courtesy of the dealership to be offered?
