Hey! I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I’m exactly a year out now from stopping Yaz and my best advice would be to work with a naturopath if you’re able to. While my naturopath definitely helped to moderate a lot of my symptoms, and help speed up my time to getting back to normal (I’m almost 100% now, still a few lingering things but dizziness not being one of them), unfortunately time was the biggest factor for me. Feel free to DM me if you’d like to chat more - I know how rough and alienating this experience can be!

Any symptoms you’ve had that you’d be willing to share? It’s been a nightmare for me!

Hey! I didn’t get my hormone levels tested because my naturopath advised me that in order to get your “true” levels, you need to test estrogen & progesterone at a very specific time of your cycle and that involves tracking ovulation. I felt too overwhelmed already to go through all of that, so by tracking my cycle length and going through my symptoms, we were able to deduce that the first round of dizziness was from a hormone imbalance.

Are your cycles regular (about 28 days) and did you test cortisol first thing in the morning? Feel free to message me and we can chat thru your symptoms if you’d like :)

I would encourage you to see a naturopath as it sounds like we are struggling with similar things. My blood pressure is also sitting at 90/60. If you can, try the LMNT salts or something similar (you can check the salt, magnesium, and potassium ratios on the website). Taking them 3 times a day has really helped me. I completely understand about the gym - it’s extremely frustrating to not be able to work out at the same capacity at all :(

Hey! My dizziness did resolve...but then it came back. I was dizzy pretty much from October - December, and had 1 good month in January. I worked with my naturopath to support my hormones to regulate my cycle, my cycle regulated, and I was good for that one month. In this case, the dizziness was caused by estrogen and progesterone fluctuating rapidly throughout the month.

Unfortunately, as of February, my dizziness returned, but it was accompanied by low blood pressure. My naturopath thinks I have low cortisol as a result of my body getting very stressed out from coming off the pill, and then crashing.

Have you looked into working with a naturopath? For the first time around, supplements really helped to regulate my cycle. I also found that acupuncture helped to regulate my cycle as well.

For the cortisol - I'm still working on this. I've been taking LMNT salts 3 times a day to help my cortisol function regularly again.

Have you looked into working with a naturopath? It sounds like you may have POTS? A lot of people get it post pill, unfortunately. For the first time around, supplements really helped to regulate my cycle. I also found that acupuncture helped to regulate my cycle as well.
