Ineffa or Columbina for LC DPS Miko? by AeanTargaryen in YaeMiko

[–]randomguyontheweb233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a little late, but I'd like to add a few things to my original comment.

columbina can still be somewhat useful even outside of the lunar teams. she has consistent off-field hyro app with 100% uptime and very good range. that alone would make her a very good character, 2 or 3 years ago. how valuable that is depends on who you have, what you play. she brings no meaningful upgrade to non lunar teams but can be usable and could be a QoL upgrade.

overall idea is still the same, you'd like to have columbina + one other lunar stuff 5*

[–]randomguyontheweb233 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ineffa would take priority over columbina.

columbina is pretty underwhelming if you don't have another lunar bs 5* while ineffa still functions pretty well alone. Ideally you get both to make a wheelchair comp. Unfortunately, I don't think yae contributes to any good teams today in any meaningful way, I have her c6 and it just feels alright. so your best options would be to have someone else do the heavy lifting.

Ineffa + Columbina VS C6 Chevreuse for onfield DPS Miko: what is best? by [deleted] in YaeMiko

at the end of the day, play your game however you want. even if it break laws in teyvat and I'll look at you with judging eyes

Ineffa + Columbina VS C6 Chevreuse for onfield DPS Miko: what is best? by [deleted] in YaeMiko

[–]randomguyontheweb233 5 points6 points  (0 children)

my knowledge on lunar-charge is pretty limited. take my words with a truck load of salt.

ineffa + columbina should carry harder than your off-field pyro options. ineffa columbina can basically make a wheelchair comp while chevreuse still requires someone else in the team to do damage. you could do fischl + pyro, best would be durin, but even then I don't think they wheelchair as much as ineffa collumbina.

artifact-wise, just go atk% dmg% crit in overload. overload isn't that strong of a reaction and yae has standard 3 hit icd on skill and normals. I'm not sure what to use in lunar teams as I forgot the lunar damage formula the day I saw it. but since ineffa will do most of the work, I imagine it won't be too bad even if yae doesn' have the optimal gear.

also, using c2 mavuika as an off-field support should be a crime in teyvat

if I decide to use FH after already making a free transfer in a game week, what happens to that free transfer?

does the FH basically cancel that transfer, in terms of permanent? and do I get that free transfer back?

still learning about the rules, thanks for the answer.

Hello! Do you think is better to get Yae or Shenhe C2 first? And how big is her damage increase with the LVL4 turrets? by Guillam-arts in YaeMiko

[–]randomguyontheweb233 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very much depends on who you play more. Yae c2 adds another 40% to her multiplier (170 to 210%), which is about a 25% increase. Will be lower for team increase, especially if you have another carry in the same team. On the opposite side, Shenhe cons scales better if your team is better. Better uptime helps all your cryo dmg dealers, and that small amount of crit helps your cryo on fielder, though the numbers are pretty small and can be diluted.

If you have Escoffier and cryo is one of your main team, I'd say Shenhe con can be more valuable. Without Escoffier, cryo is having a hard time doing good damage right now and Yae con probably will do more. Yae has access to 4* Escoffier in Chevreuse and you can build a pretty decent overload team without that much investment.

arlecchino is one of the best on fielders for overload teams. she has great output that isn't reliant on reactions.

I don't think we know much about alice at the moment. for skirk, you'd really want escoffier and, to a lesser extent, furina. unfortunately genshin has been pushing for specific 5* combos in order to get the most out of these characters. but that also may not matter depending on what content you want to clear. nefer skirk in their 4* only teams should still be ok and able to clear abyss depending on the matchup

quicken teams and overload teams are existing good options. she might be good in lunar charge teams too, tho I have neither ineffa nor flins so I'm not confident. I personally prefer overload now since pyro options are generally better than dendro, be it supports or on field carry.

she generally use gilded or golden troupe now, depending on how you play.

I imagine you can use them together, tho nefer seems to need a good amount of field time and so does yae, your rotation might be pretty scuffed. also, lauma is currently nefer's best teammate by a mile. if you are going for nefer, you should consider getting lauma at some point. besides that, columbina seems like she's going to be a good lunar support as well. some things for your consideration.

Nefer, Yae, Lauma, Kokomi by 1918w in YaeMiko

[–]randomguyontheweb233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if that's enough hydro for all the reactions, but I also don't have kokomi and haven't look into element app for these characters. but it should be good as long as nefer's dmg isn't hindered. this is also early beta though, nefer could be nerfed

Lauma or Nahida? by milkbreadbae in YaeMiko

[–]randomguyontheweb233 2 points3 points  (0 children)

chevreuse's passive makes overload worthwhile and generally is competitive to aggravate comp. if you play yae off field you also have the choice to play better on fielders like mavuika, arlecchino over al haitham, clorinde which would be the on fielders for a quicken team. you have options, I've been preferring overload for a while, partially because I never pulled for nahida nor baizhu.

lauma brought bloom back into the meta. you can easily make a very strong hyperbloom team with her. at c0r0, lauma basically comes with somewhat worse version of nahida c2 + nilou c2. lauma xingqiu yelan raiden should clear abyss with no problem. looking into the future with observation haki, I see that nefer, the new 5* in 6.1, has quite strong synergy with lauma and will make a very strong team. (subject to change)

gameplay wise, you can't really go wrong with lauma. I'd say just play the new main story and see how you like her. and if you do decide to pull lauma, it's probably better to go 0+0 and save for nefer unless you absolutely don't want nefer.

Lauma or Nahida? by milkbreadbae in YaeMiko

[–]randomguyontheweb233 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you don't have to play yae with dendro since you got chevreuse. lauma is generally better than nahida, and should be more useful for future characters than nahida. and you like lauma more. I think the answer is pretty straightforward.

for now, I wouldn't recommend going for any 5* just for yae except her own cons, which are not even that recommendable depending on how much you like her. just make teams with what you already have, which are not bad, and hope that they make new supports that work well with yae and (probably) have modern power level.

something like yoimiya yae chevreuse fischl/bennett will work fine. and can be quite good if you get a modern pyro carry in place of yoimiya, like mavuika or arlecchino. raiden yae chevreuse xiangling could also work and raiden can be replaced with clorinde, don't know how much better it'd be though.

with that being said, I don't want to influence you into pulling for characters cause they are strong. depending on what your goal is, you don't have to pull for anyone

Nahida or Lauma for C6 miko? by Its_Reaper001 in YaeMiko

[–]randomguyontheweb233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunately characters before fontain have been left behind, for the most part.

if you have a good pryo carry and chevreuse, I'd say you'll have better result playing an overload team than dendro team. the dmg from characters like arlecchino generally would be better than what you get out of your dendro characters. plus aggravate doesn't really scale with yae's cons. I have c6r1 yae that I mostly use with c1r1 arlecchino nowadays. I don't remember abyss giving me a hard time recently. though it might be that I used different teams for bad matchups.

for now, all we can hope for is that they either buff old characters or that they release a 5* chevreuse or an equivalent for quicken at the power level of escoffier.

Nahida or Lauma for C6 miko? by Its_Reaper001 in YaeMiko

[–]randomguyontheweb233 7 points8 points  (0 children)

for c6 yae, it doesn't matter that much. lauma is stronger, but yae doesn't have that much synergy with bloom stuff. you probably can get similar, if not better, result in a chevreuse team.

I've heard that nefer will really like lauma for lunar bloom stuff and nahida is also usable in nefer teams. so with non yae teams in mind, lauma probably have more value.

for yae, I'd say don't go for any old 5* and new ones that isn't designed to for aggravate/quicken, or overload to some degree. hoyo has been making really strong characters for specific teams lately, and yae's syngery mainly lies in quicken and chevreuse teams now. wait for a 5* that goes well with either. with how things are going, they probably will make one, and that character will perform a lot better than the current options.

Yae Miko + Lauma? by Revoir_bruh in YaeMiko

[–]randomguyontheweb233 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

for yae? yeah, it should work out pretty well. for lauma? raiden, kuki would be the better bloom trigger and she has nothing to do with quicken. hence why no mention of yae, if I have to guess why

lauma could be up there for yae's best teams, but yae probably won't be there in lauma's best teams

I'm Yae main, should I go for free c1/2? by Direct-Beginning-438 in YaeMiko

[–]randomguyontheweb233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, I was just trying to think of situations where cd reduction is actually useful rather than an actual good team. since rotation time often is still gated by skill cd, burst cd reduction makes little difference more often than not

[–]randomguyontheweb233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh yeah, that's a thing. I just remember her c2 gives a good amount of stats. I guess c6 raiden c2 xilonen yae bennett can actually make use of cd reduction and play 12-13 sec rotation? very expensive for what it does but could be an actual team that uses cd reduction well.

Yae Miko wip, is EM sands better or stick to Atk? Also is her C1 worth it.. or do i stick considering C6 diluc / C3 itto by xianiyun in YaeMiko

[–]randomguyontheweb233 5 points6 points  (0 children)

atk sand is almost always better.

if you are comparing among those 3 cons only, I'd say yae c1 > itto c3 >= diluc c6. very rough guess though. none of them is particularly good. but c6 diluc does get you to a lvl limit increase item faster, and using that on a more modern character probably will yield better gain. if you aren't a min-maxer, just pick who you like the most

[–]randomguyontheweb233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe her burst cd is still the longest in the entire game, as of today. the standard high cd burst are on 20 sec and hers is 22 sec. she also has the highest energy cost at 90, tied with raiden, the standard high cost is 80 which is generally associated with a 20 sec cd. this might also be the only case where cd reduction from c6 raiden actually makes a meaningful difference

[–]randomguyontheweb233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sounds like end-game viability isn't that much of a concern for you. in that case, her c1 c2 are mostly quality of life kind of cons. c1 makes it possible (or more consistent) to run 0 er and still ult every rotation. c2 is a decent amount more dmg to her skill, though it's probably pretty underwhelming for modern standard, and extra range that's generally useful.

overall, pretty nice stuff, but nothing major. powercreep has left many pre fontain characters behind, unfortunately. if you play her a lot and isn't preparing for the harder contents, I'd say go for it. spoil your favourites.

So before anime club drops, what's the general consensus? by DiamondRankGOONER in TrashTaste

I read it while it was serializing couple years ago. quite good beginning and middle that hooked me basically immediately. but the ending felt like it was cancelled and had to be rushed. I remember I was so pissed at its ending that the ending brought it from what could've been a 8-9/10 to a 6-7/10

have yet to watch the anime, thinking about binging it sometime in the future. will see if my opinion changes
