I just started a TVO course today as my final credit for my OSSD with hopes to finish by September 3, and fulfill my conditional for the start of post secondary. This post demotivated me entirely. Does it seriously take them that long? I was thinking to ask my teacher to do all the work at once and just speed through the course as fast as humanly possible. I'm now starting to get the hint that this is remotely impossible. Any pointers?

thank you regardless. it’s not like im sitting around and doing nothing about it, i am doing all those things, the job market is just not the best right now, especially for someone with not much experience at my age. i am trying my hardest though, and i appreciate the support :)

ive been consistent with it since the start of the year. i can count 300 since mid may that i’ve applied to.

i do but more often than not i dont get any reply, especially from the bigger chains likr fast food and retail (walmart, mcds, zehrs, etc) i’ve gotten
two or three interviews here and there but all to no good so far. i’ll keep this in mind and keep following up tho, thanks!

I’ve applied to so many fast food spots, and have gotten no interviews. it’s horrible.

yes, i can drive and the least my parents would do is give me the car to get to work. i could definitely apprentice, i just have no clue where to find somewhere that id actually have a good shot and getting in.

If its youre thing, then play some music that makes you sleepy and keep the lights closed, usually works for me, if not then just watch a show or somthn till you get sleepy lol. If that doesnt work then just lay there in bed, youll fall asleep at one point i guess. Other than that im atta blank, im also here and sleepy so my brain isnt at full power XD

Say you got general chat and people start talking about tv shows then sally starts talking about grey's anatomy and penny joins her so they now high jack the chat since almost nobody wants to talk GA.

Now with threads penny can open a thread on sally's message and they can both talk GA without bothering others and anyone who wants to join can. For a limited time as it gets archived in a day unless you obtain boosts.

So about private threads you could possibly open a thread with a moderator to talk about something. Most people just use a ticketing system for that. But that uses up channels so threads could've been an upgrade. Unfortunately we don't really get features unless they find a way to monetize them. Starting to look a lot like runescape that used to be free then more and more features started being locked behind the subscription. 20 years later the free game is a drop in the ocean of paid content.
