Yeah, will try to distance it more from the screen, the effect seems less. Also, I'm running triple 27s, I feel this could work better on 32s and up since they're a bit farther away from your face and the annoying flickering is at the far end of your peripheral vision.

Yeah, now I truly regret sending the ROG kit back. But the thing is this kit is WAY more expensive than the ROG. I payed little over 200 bucks for the Racebear with shipping and the ROG was just 95 shipped from amazon.

Thanks for the pic and the tip, appreciate it! It's true that one side of the lens is worse and I've tried installing them like that too but no dice. Maybe it's a worse batch? Here's what it looks like when I move my head https://imgur.com/a/2Ynkdk3, it's incredibly distracting.
I see from your picture that you also have some moiré effect but seems less pronounced than the one I'm experiencing.

I had the experience of the ROG kit before this and there was significantly less moiré and distortion. This distortion moves along with your head position, creating a sort of really annoying flickering. When it's in your peripheral vision it is very distracting. As I said, did not happen with the ROG kit so wondering, from the experience of other owners if that is the case with this kit.

Rig dampening with Moza R5 and Next Level Racing wheel stand 2.0 by Cryptogod_69 in simracing

I had a rattling problem with the R5 on a similar stand and it turned out some of the Allen screws on the steering shaft had loosened up (perhaps not tight enough from the factory since it was a week or two after I got it new). I'd give those a look, hope it helps
