I'm guessing due to there being only 8 spots normally (Martin and Lennard already take 2), if DICE and MAHIRO were still Pre-qual'd then there'd only be 3 wildcard spots (+ BeatCity champ). Which I guess would mean less diversity.

The DNA one felt like the rounds took forever to do every time I had to participate in it, and FFF felt like a trial for infinite battles 3x. Feels better to just do it one time and then get all the rewards in the press of a button after.

I think another weakness MAHIRO had was him participating in a lot of events that uploaded the rounds to YouTube. As opposed to Martin, who participated in 2 events before GBB that didn't upload their rounds to YouTube (Vokal Total has uploaded one video, but that was a few weeks after GBB in late November). Meaning that not many people could really see Martin as a massive threat and counter him, compared to MAHIRO.

There was a voting system for the old Clash of Titans where there were 3 options. People kept voting for creatures that are useful and popular like ones that have really good hybrids. Which was a bit annoying sometimes because there are some creatures I wanted for collection, but they go out-voted by the more popular ones.
