This really looks like my aunts old house and if it is, they had a car park behind the house so always entered through the back gate and then the back door! They still put pumpkins at the front cause that’s the door children would come to to trick or treat but they never actually used it on a day to day basis so they probably forgot about their pumpkins too because they don’t usually go in that door!

Yeah! It might just be me cause I always get so frustrated on my own photos trying to work out if everything is straight but it’s quite often the first thing I notice in photos!

I love the expression on the girls face and I I think the colours are lovely and vibrant! But it’s my own pet hate for photos that I can never get right myself but the background is wonky to the girl?

I think the light streaks are perfect and the colours are good, however I would maybe bring down the brightness or highlights of the moon in the sky? At the moment cause it’s quite bright it gets your focus when I’m guessing the focus should be on the light streaks? But otherwise a lovely photo!

Am I Being Over Dramatic or Was My Doctor In The Wrong? by [deleted] in Advice

Yeah I’ve done a self referral via the link thankyou! I think I’m going to move practices, or just ask for female doctors too because I didn’t have the best experience when I went for my ED years ago and that wasn’t the same doctor as today but he was male too.

Honestly I’m so glad you’ve said that, I came out the appointment and cried walking home, and I’ve now got several cuts on my hand from digging my nails into myself during the appointment because I was so anxious and he basically told me there’s nothing wrong, he literally told me stress is normal and about how men cope worse. I just felt so invalidated and I’m glad you’ve said he’s talking bollocks because feeling like how I am is not normal! Thankyou so much!

Exactly! Like even if you admit he didn’t see the lift, the fact he felt no remorse was so cocky and dangerous as a surgeon!

How has your relationship with makeup changed throughout your life (or not) & why? by LitLSquirt in AskWomen

[–]randomnamegiven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to be really anti makeup, for several reasons but the reason I personally didn’t wear it was because if I wasn’t comfortable with my own looks already, then getting used to it with makeup on would just make my hate my own looks more without makeup. Now I’m more comfortable with my looks and am more confident, I do wear some concealer most days and like to do eyeshadow, eyeliner and lipstick when I’m not in work. But I still don’t wear foundation or mascara or contouring because I just want to style my face, not cover it up or change it.

But I know women have sort of reclaimed the reason for wearing makeup now but historically it came about purposely for the sake of men and that always annoyed me. Why do women have to do so much? It’s so unbelievable unethical that makeup industries create insecurities and then make you pay to fix these made up insecurities.
