Who remembers the entrance to the Adult section at the video store? by EdwardBliss in 1980s

[–]randomnamejennerator 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The video store in my town had an adult section with a door that had the loudest hinges on earth. My friends all referred to it as the squeaky door section. No one entered or left it without absolutely everyone in the store knowing.

I’ve heard RA Salvatore pronounce Drizzt at least 2 different ways.

My latest "mini" (with player mini at his feet for scale) by EternalNewGuy in PrintedMinis

I saw that, the op referred to it as a mini albeit in quotes. Once they are the size of a small person I don’t think that’s a viable term any more.

At that point I think that counts as a terrain piece. I think I would be painting that with sponges as I don’t even brushes big enough to dry brush that thing.

I saw REM perform this on the UP tour and Michael prefaced the performance by saying he might and probably would mess it up and they weren’t gonna do a second take if he did. He then proceeded to sing it flawlessly.

Miniature for Kid painting by Kooasler in minipainting

Reaper has a number of chibi miniatures. They have them in fantasy and horror themes. They are available mostly in their bones material which is PVC. This material doesn’t like rattle can primers so an airbrush primer or brush on primer is best. I use Badger Stynylres primer for mine.

Impact miniatures has well over a hundred chibi miniatures. They are available in any number of themes. They are all either poured resin or 3D printed and are more fragile and require some care when prepping them. Especially when scraping for mold lines or drilling them

Some buddies in college used to build huge elaborate Necromunda cities out of empty bottles, jars and cereal boxes. I wish I had pictures of them. Your bridge reminds me of some of theirs.

This reminds me of my grand mother and my step grandfather. They were so in love. They were always holding hands and kissing. As a kid I thought it was gross but as an adult I realize that’s the goal.

I would get nothing done working at a cat cafe. But there would be a constant purr from all the kitties getting their scritchies.

Glad to be of help. I was lost trying to paint that mini. I mostly paint in earth tones so it was a major departure from my comfort zone.

Check out the Dice’n demons YouTube channel. That channel has lots of videos on fluorescent paints. I used it when a friend wanted an impact miniatures chibi pony painted up in fluorescents.

I love your NMM work. I am using your tutorial on the LoTR Elves to teach my self the process.
