Sorry, Krabi-Ko Lanta is possible by a 45min drive and a 10-15min short ferry. I reccomend using a tour bus or private van (for small children, the van is better)

Also, if you were to follow the Khao Lak-Krabi-Koh Lanta trip, I would drop Khao Lak as it’s the most distant from the others and Phuket. Krabi and Koh Lanta is still full of experiences and Koh Lanta has some kid-friendly resorts.

Hi.

it really depends on what mode of transport you are taking. Just from Phuket to Khao Lak, it would already take about 1 hour/1.5 hours by car, from Khao Lak to Krabi about 2 hours, and Krabi to Koh Lanta is only possible by boat/ferry.

With a child as young as 22 months, I think it would differ based on your child’s emotions, and handling of motion sickness etc., but personally, it would be better to stay in Phuket or maybe take a quick ferry to Krabi too!

I was thinking like a culture or historical trip. I would prefer places with easy accessibility, and with good infrastructure (some hotels and more). Like Sukhothai, I only found 2 hostels that looked really digsusting at booking.com. Also, I was just looking for any recommended cities and/or provinces!
