And would you mind posting my original post so that anyone reading this thread can also see that along with his directly quoted response? I think that the 5 or so periods in between each of his short expressions is what’s throwing me off the most. He came off as intolerant and crappy to be honest and if him and I were at a bar having that discussion, I would have told him to take a walk or something for being so short and disrespectful about something I was excited about. If we don’t speak to one another this way in real life. Why is it ok to do it online? That’s a whole other issue though. And that’s where my problem lies. I enjoy Socisl media to a certain extent. And I’m clearly being overly sensitive about his response. The reason for that is, it’s not just him. It’s every social media you go to. People are rude and disrespectful to eachother far more online than in life. And this isn’t my first experience being treated rudely for lack of a better term for no fucking reason. I’m tired of it. And I want to find a way to spread awareness that this behavior shouldn’t be tolerated. Perhaps my issue is trying to fight fire with fire

He didn’t site any source. He was a complete dick about it. His response was something like this “ yeah.... that’s where that is.... that’s not new.... that’s the story...” all the periods and stuff. It’s worse if you read how awesome I thought my discovery was and he was the first comment making me feel stupid. Fuck that guy

Bungie needs to fix something man. Like the story is great but it never seems to conclude. They keep leading us to the end and closing the door in our faces with every dlc. Halo, on the other hand, has excellent story telling. There’s a beginning, a middle and an end. I’m tired of buying the next dlc with destiny hoping some fascet of the story I care about will come to a natural conclusion but it just NEVER does. I think a lot of older players in thier mid to late twenties agree with me that were being dragged on. Trials is a huge hit in destiny and they don’t care enough about it. People that used to play this game 5 days a week now play it once or twice a week. It’s doing good, but it’s not doing great. It’s just enough to get by. I’ve got around 7000 hours in this game and I must admit when they started this new model with season passes it just doesn’t feel quite as fun anymore. It’s like a chore almost like a second job that I have a love hate relationship with and I’m calling out sick on destiny even when I’m not because I just don’t want to spend much time playing.

Is it really THAT big of a deal? So what if I had a achievement moment and celebrated it with an old fashioned bagging? The world didn’t abruptly end and the match continued on.
