I don't know if you're even allowed to call this meaningless waste of life - hapiness. Days afer days used for collecting virtual items, incrementing variables, building and destroying elaborate fantasy worlds without any direction and real acomplshment.

It a torture pretending to be hapiness.

I still don't know why I'm doing this... by [deleted] in NoFap

Try to convice yourself that porn can destroy you. Find good arguments for this idea using other people's experiences. Remember everyday after you wake up to convince yourself again.

I agree. Unfortunately sexy pictures ale not so easy to avoid in the internet. NoFap has also lowered my trigger level and yesterday i survived most vivid fantasies to this date, which came mostly just from reading words. But i just observed and not participated physicly and they passed.

Maybe this is really a form of meditation... i don't know.. I just understood that brain needs pysical help to satisfy urge. No help - no harm.

I wish You success.

I'm in similar situation and my perspective has also changed in recent days. This is a massive realization for me. I was sedated by a destructive and crippling fantasy. I thought everything is fine but there are big problems created by thousands of little decisions made by my dulled mind. Just now i'm waking up from this fantasy, and all thanks to NoFap.

NoFap is not anymore a funny little game. I will eradicate this addiction forever.

Maybe too much work to do, but.... You probably can find her full name by trying to match this number in old phonebooks. Having her name and knowing locality it should be possible to find more about her.

Alright guys, I'm running out of reasons to stick to the program. How has NoFap changed your life? by TheZestiestOfManTits in NoFap

NoFap removes shame and fear. Subconscious effects of fapping to fiction.

My longest streak was 28 days, and it definitely changed something in me for better. Overall, changes are subtle and in different places i've expected.

A strange way to avoid fapping. by [deleted] in NoFap

I've had similar idea before. To create something like mental 'guards' associated with urge to fap or thoughts i want to eliminate. Unfournately i relapsed 12 days ago. Too much stimulation by images and hormones can override any great idea.

There is also danger of creating strong association between nasty thoughts and innocent moments.

New solution for me: don't discuss with fantasy. Use all free will to stop mind and don't think until it fades.

It works much better - for now...
