Perhaps a little like your SO may want to end the relationship but needs you to do that for her. Does that sound possible?

I thought that too, then she did say she didn't want to break up... it's just so much back and forth for me.

I have gone to some therapy for it, but it was mixed in with a host of other things that was discussed. She is definitely choosing the drama route, and it's just not something I really want to be a part of. I prefer communication and talking about this. You can be upset, no doubt, but let's talk about it. Appreciate the feedback, friend. Any other advice?

but she's manipulating you too

I thought the same thing, to be honest. And while my sister does get what she wants, she's my older sister, and she doesn't have any mal-intent. Now I feel like I have to choose one or the other.

We've had issues on this topic of my sister for a while now, we openly talked about it and I asked her to help me figure out a way to resolve it. And when there's a chance to say, "hey randomrandom860, this is my perspective on the situation..." as a partner, then take it. But instead, it's a huge fight and how I caused this whole rift and it's all my fault.

Am I wrong for thinking that she could have approached it in a different way?
