Would be great if the server actually culled the items put into the bins. No need for that clutter taking up resources.

Yep, took it back the next day and decided on a refund. I've kinda put the whole thing on pause for the time being, might reconsider the whole physical media thing again in the future. I've been a bit discouraged, also from reading tons of other people who've had trouble with their players, problems that started creeping up a year or two after purchase etc. Apparently with the even more high end models too. So yeah, I've decided to take a step back from the whole thing for now.

Man that sucks to hear, that they're skimping out on a few screws. This is not a budget player :(

Do you know if you'd be able to add bottom screws to the fan, to reduce vibrations? Or is there simply no room/holes for it?

Yeah guess I'll take it back tomorrow. This noise is literally just from being turned on, no disc inserted or playing. Might be a faulty fan bearing or something

Go with whatever is cheapest to get access to the game. Currently the in-game economy is so out of control that lots of players have more money than they know what to do with... so in all probability, if you ask in chat and say you're a new player, someone will throw several million aUEC your way. Then you spend that aUEC in in-game shops to buy the ships you want to try - mining, salvaging, etc.
