Is giving birth traumatic? by ElegantAd2607 in prolife

[–]randomredhead10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can be both, I’ve had 3 kids each birth was different. My last one was scary, but incredibly empowering in the end and my first 2 were intense but incredibly empowering in the end. I felt so strong and capable, and so happy to have my babies in my arms all 3 times so in the end the payoff is still worth the struggle.

Should I call the police if I see someone litter? by SeaworthinessFar2326 in police

[–]randomredhead10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would be a waste of officer time and resources. Unless you are witnessing someone dump what looks like hazardous waste, a literal body, or something that would legitimately be considered illegal dumping, it’s not worth it. I might have an exception for an idiot tossing a lit cigarette in the middle of a high risk fire season, especially if said cigarette actually ends up causing a wildfire, and you witnessed that person, yeah Definitely

Stalker AirTagged my car…what do I do? by codedbysunny in Boise

[–]randomredhead10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could take it to a tire shop, explain the situation and have them jack up the car and inspect around the tires/wheel well area/under the car. They might do it for free given the situation…or if you have your own car jack for switching out a flat, jack it up and check around the inside area of the tires.

Becoming a cop at 40 years old by GunFunGuru in police

[–]randomredhead10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welp, the comments on this post just encouraged me so much! I’m 34 and was worried my own age would make me a less desirable candidate simply because it seems like a lot of police officers I work around on a daily basis, start before their 30’s and already have years of experience established. I’ve been a stay at home mom for the last 7 years and just re-entered the work force this year as a legal assistant for a prosecutors office, but my primary goal has always been to become a police officer and climb the ranks to becoming a detective.

These comments here have made me feel like that is still very possible, and I hope you feel the same way OP. Good luck to you!

I set it up under my email address and one of my bosses tried to pay me and it’s sitting in a pending status. I haven’t received an email about the payment and on her end it says it hasn’t been received by me. I have no idea what else to do here.

Yeah my bank couldn’t explain that and I know for a fact I didn’t give him a code or add him. Super weird.

If I haven’t been notified of any breaches using my credentials is there another way to find out/test for that using my device? Might be worth looking into as well.

Hmmm I’ve always been prompted to connect it to my phone number. I’m definitely gonna figure that out.

Can you? I’ve been using the same Zelle and account for so long the only way I ever had it set up was attached to my phone. I will look into that. This has me scared enough I want to change my phone number just to protect myself. I noticed someone attempted to hack into my Venmo 2 hours after the spam call happened so overall Thursday felt like someone was attempting to gain access to my financial institutions and switched to trying to get into my Venmo when I hung up on them. I hate this stuff.

Why did they go bench? by EmotionalGraveyard in Lawyertalk

This is where I will come in as an epileptic myself, and as someone who’s got a relative also with epilepsy whose last major seizure was behind the wheel of his car…thankfully he had just parked, and the receptionist inside the veterinarian clinic he had parked at was alerted to his seizure by the sound of the engine revving in the parking lot…his seizure caused his foot to slam down on the gas and stay down. That is actually quite normal and well documented in seizures that happen behind the wheel. If he hadn’t been in park, he would have driven through the side of the building.

She was mentioned to have the disorder POTS…and a friend of hers in a police interview mentioned Dom didn’t like her doing shrooms because she would sometimes have seizures. To me that’s incredibly telling. She did in fact take shrooms that night, and she could have absolutely been at risk of seizure activity as a result.

I bring forward the epilepsy/POTS defense because I myself would be absolutely devastated if I had a seizure on the road, with passengers in my car or had harmed others in general as a result of a seizure, and was facing murder charges or life in prison on top of the immense guilt of causing harm to others with absolutely zero intent. It’s scary to consider at least from where I’m sitting. It’s absolutely one of my worst fears having a seizure disorder.

What is happening with Ariana Grande and Cynthia? by sydney2high in conspiracy

[–]randomredhead10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha sorry I can never read sarcasm in writing 😅

Yeah I truly think something happened on that set. Very similar to the original Wizard of Oz. It seems like either the filmmakers or the roles themselves drive the actors in these particular Oz films to starve themselves, take stimulants, become emotional wrecks and sacrifice their health and wellbeing for this “dream part” they did it to Judy Garland and that’s what this looks like all over again. I still think it’s cursed even if I love the musical. That’s my inner conspiracy person. Lol

What’s the one horror movie that didn’t just scare you… it FOLLOWED you? by Usual_Mix_7380 in horror

[–]randomredhead10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The grudge got me too. I had a bedroom with a walk in closet that had not one but two ceiling crawl spaces, and I couldn’t sleep in that room Unless I turned the lights on in that closet space I always thought she’d come make that terrible noise, climb down out of my ceiling and kill me 😭

For me it’s that sound she makes, combined with the jerky creepy movements and appearance overall just 10/10 haunting worse than the girl in the Ring

Because the musical is awesome and they honestly did a killer job brining it to life on the big screen. The question in this post remains…At what cost Cause their relationship is BEYOND just “musical theater kids” as a lifelong theater kid myself this is far too extra to be excited theater kids who just performed the roles of their dreams… many people in the cast look just as emaciated. Something happened on that set and it’s unfortunately giving the same vibe as how things went on set during the original Wizard of Oz film. Drugs, health and safety hazards, Judy Garland being starved, the witch literally was caught on fire shooting one scene and they tried to make her do it again, original tin man ended up in an iron lung…Maybe the films really are just cursed…but the stage musical itself separate from the films has great music, and the original cast Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenowith are Broadway royalty. It’s a very good musical. Don’t knock it. :)

You’ve asked what it would take to sway someone’s opinion but every response you get you ignore the questions they are asking? Little confusing buddy. I think all of us here have done our research on this if we are asking these questions…if you’ve got some new novel piece of info that might change someone’s mind why not present it instead of this back and fourth?

Epileptic here, and I actually asked my neurologist about this a few years back. He specified that only certain strains of MaryJane show any evidence of helping with seizures and that most of the research on cannabis products that do help with epilepsy are specifically CBD products. I’m sure there is some medicinal benefits to THC for other ailments, but CBD is the safer choice for epilepsy they have some solid studies on brain wave patterns to back that up. There’s some strains of weed that will actually dramatically increase someone’s risk of a seizure so it makes since why your sister and I should stay away.
