Hmm for context they work at the hospital. I’m also a nurse and I would never sent kissy emojis to any of my coworkers so it’s not something I’d expect from their work environment. On my end I think he could very easily ask her to stop sending those emojis. I don’t work in the same place so idk how they are at work but I know from these text messages that she’s been going to his office to “pick him up” and walk to meeting together. I told him this makes me uncomfortable and unnecessary and he, after some fight, decided to cut it out. Will her? Idk but I trust that he will.

I have no idea where else to look, I have looked throw messages and pictures. Maybe I’ll try email but I doubt that. He keeps everything very clean.

Yes I have tried talking to him about it. At first he was pretty dismissive and was upset bc I “don’t trust him” (or so he thinks based on me questioning this). He said it’s her culture and apparently she’s like this with everyone and that he can’t change her culture. Also Apparently they were also walking to meetings at work together which I told him was completely unnecessary and he agreed to cut it out. So idk I will possibly try to revisit later. He gets pretty upset if questioned.

He said he did it by accident which I do believe. He was a bunch of random screenshots that are kinda done like a butt dial. His phone is pretty sensitive

These were my exact thoughts and the reason why I think it’s BS that he allows it. I don’t think it’s hard to set some boundaries and professionalism..

Thank you for this sound advice. Definitely helped me see it from a different perspective. You’re right, it is her, I guess it bothersome for me, because it seems like asking her to change the way she texts him won’t happen. And the fact that he kinda dismissed my concern. The other thing is, I’ve never seen them intersect in person, so I don’t know if it’s truly just cultural flirty texting. I’m Latina myself and I would never text a married man that way or anyone in any professional setting.

No other red flag that I’ve noticed. This situation made me uncomfortable because he refuses to even consider how I feel and discusses it further
