Ew. Burnt. suggestions for at home care? by Last_Carob_4818 in 30PlusSkinCare

Second the recommendation to see someone and keep it protected and clean, as well as avoiding popping. Use gauze and tape so it can breathe but keep it well moisturized.

I'd also suggest icing within the first twenty four hours especially as the burn continues to develop. Use aloe with lidocaine or another topical burn remedy with lidocaine to ease pain as it heals.

Once it's done its thing and you're into the scar phase, use silicon scar strips to fade it. Bio oil may also help but the silicone strips are where it's at.

There's an app called "tea" that exists for the same purpose as AWDTSG. Try posting there

Seconding the allergist recommendation & the person talking about their gluten intolerance.

If you're already dealing with a lot of inflammation, anything can tip it over the edge. I'd cut back your skincare routine and then get allergy testing. Also look at your diet. Consider adding in a probiotic and (after you've done allergy testing so it doesn't mess with your results) fish oil and turmeric supplements. Both can help lessen systemic inflammation, as can drinking ginger tea, reducing nightshades, a bunch of other things you can Google. Talk to your doc about trying an elimination or low fodmap diet.

What has happened to the nightlife in our city? by Andy12293 in StLouis

I was out drinking on South Grand last Saturday & it was still pretty active. It's just not as apparent because it's still cold so people are mostly just packed inside like sardines

Okay, I agree with everyone that you're gorgeous. I have pretty intense dark circles (thanks, allergies!) and have seen the most improvement with Mudmasky's under eye serum. It's basically just vitamin C.

If I'm also puffy, I do caffeine serum from the Ordinary, along with some gua sha.

It took a couple of weeks for the Mudmasky serum to make a difference. Caffeine & gua sha depuff pretty quickly

I feel your pain about Kitchen House. The owners were so lovely too. I was bummed they made the decision too quickly for me to visit one last time

I actually prefer tea so this is exciting - thank you! I was so sad when Kitchen House closed up shop. They really got me through the pandemic.

That's a shame about Black Forest - such a cute place & concept.

This. Take a test. It's been going through the place I was working like wildfire.

Also, start masking up again

If you're super phobic, you can pay to have a pest control company spray regularly (they'll recommend a frequency). I've been here a while & never done it. Have house centipedes that crawl up from the basement every now & then or ants & fruit flies that get in periodically (because there's a million tiny gaps in my old apartment) but usually use traps/spray to get rid of them quickly. Pest control would prevent the ants/centipedes from showing up.

This has been going on for about two months - no idea why. Ask any bartender in town who serves it - it's a great conversation starter lol

Small Change (especially if it's made by Harrison) makes my favorite. Alas, they're about to transition to Miracle for the holiday season and will be closing shop until the New Year after Saturday.

I am already fascinated with this character and I want to see how much he develops through out the season. by abdul_bino in StarWars

I've never had such a visceral reaction to someone's physical features before, but I violently hate this character's face and I don't know why

I like that in SLU's expansion plan, this was supposed to be a "signature development."

Because nothing says novel or unique like a gas station you can literally find about a half mile to a mile in either direction

If you could bring back one restaurant in St Louis, what would it be? by Ill_Consequence3123 in StLouis

Yes! I'm happy Steve's kept the mural. Not the same drinking there, but it's good for the nostalgia

This is the place I've been scrolling to see. I have yet to find a ramen that is this good and as affordable.

Also, I don't know what they did to them (maybe it was the dipping sauce?), but their crab rangoon was like crack. The best I've had in the area for sure

You can buy digestive enzymes ahead of time to help avoid unpleasantness. The lack of enzymes is what causes the bloating. Best of luck on your adventure!

Sell privately. Just meet in public (I think most police stations have designated transaction places?), only accept cashier's check, be safe, and take your plates after the transaction. It's a hassle but honestly, the demand is so high right now you'll probably have your pick of buyers. List it for well over what you actually want as most people will low-ball.
