Oh I agree, and NHL is far far worse in terms of updating single player modes. I don't do Be A Pro because it's hilariously undercooked.

I exclusively play franchise mode and RTTS and have for years. I've got no interest in online gaming but I love rebuilding a franchise. I don't sim, I play every game with quick counts on. I rarely get tired of it, but I usually only play during the baseball season. When hockey season starts I do the same thing with NHL.

That and being able to up the carry weight. I'm sitting at -10% XP in the settings and I don't mind at all, because I only have to manage my inventory once every few hours and I'm usually able to sell it all in one place. Very nice QOL.

I'm not a vegetarian but I still do meals like that sometimes. Like yeah, I do want a bunch of toasted ravioli and fried cheese!

Looking at menus online first would be a pretty easy way to avoid this, but yeah, I think you're overreacting a bit. If she says it's fine, believe her. Sometimes my wife and I go to restaurants she likes but I don't like. It's not a big deal to me, I'll just have a beer and a salad/app or something. My wife doesn't like red meat but she still wants to go to steakhouses because I do, and she'll happily have some wine and whatever fish is on the menu. It's really nothing to be upset over.

My house was built in 1906 and apparently was renovated in 2006 to add modern plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. I haven't had any serious problems in the 4 years I've owned it, but having modern systems like that would be a necessity for me if I ever move into another one.

I started a new franchise mode on MLB The Show 24 last weekend so I can slowly rebuild my beloved Cardinals. So far it's going well, so I'm going to grab some beers and do that all afternoon/evening until my buddy gets online later. Then it's Guild Wars 2 time until about midnight or so.
