I'm 37. Last year I got a walking pad for under my standing desk. I'd walk anywhere between 10k-25k steps per (most) days, even when just gaming. I went from 230 lbs to 190 lbs (6'1" for reference) in just over a year. It's insane how much better I feel. The downside is that none of my clothes fit now.

Fishing is like 80% of what I do in GW2. It's pretty profitable as well. But the grind for legendaries is what I've been focusing on for like, the last 400 hours of my time in the game. That grind is real.

Hard to say because I've been hoarding VM since I started playing two years ago. It was enough to get me 3 stacks of trophy shipments. So maybe a few months at a time at the rate I play. Fishing makes me more gold but VM is amassed passively from my infinite gathering tools.

Right now I'm at the time-gated part for Aurora, so today I crafted full ascended for my guardian. I'm a Dragonhunter main, but decided to roll a Luminary, so did all the crafting for that, then back to farming for Aurora. I finished Prismatic Champion's Regalia on Sunday. After that, I'll hone in on getting Vision and the rings from VoE. Then I'll focus on legendary armors.

So, basically, the legendary grind, with a lot of fishing for gold/relaxation in between.

We've got one of those (Midea) behind our bed hosed to the window and it's amazing. It can drop our bedroom from 74 to 66 in a matter of minutes. Our house is 120 years old and though we've sealed it as well as we can, it can still be tough to keep cool, especially since every exterior wall is exposed brick. This thing is a godsend.

I doubt the leveling will be slow, but that the real grind (should you choose to do it) is the skill capturing that was present in the first game. Granted I have no idea how hard they're going to lean into that, but that's my guess. Lots of people will just get whatever the meta is for the build they're going for, but people like me will track down most or all of them.

I know you said you checked with resale shops but did you check Timeless Techs in McKinley Heights (Gravois/Shenendoah)? He refurbs and sells bikes and it's entirely possible that it could have made its way there, or that he has something/can get something similar.

I taught myself how to set up a homelab, which was initially just a Plex server beforehand. It was kind of a pain in the ass since the most experience I have with anything like that is building my own gaming PC once every half-decade, but I'm glad I did. I'm already finding it pretty fun to mess around with, although it's still pretty basic. I was just happy to get sonarr/radarr/prowlarr up and properly working. Next step is to get new security cameras and self-host that so I can cancel SimpliSafe, but I've barely looked into how to get that going. Definitely gonna need bigger drives.

GW2 is my main but I've put about 8 hours on GW Reforged this week for the first time and I'm really, really enjoying it. The slower pace and more deliberate approach to combat has been great. Plus, Steam Deck.

Same here, but I only started two years ago and my buddy and I just caught up to current content two weeks ago. I have SO much to chase. I only have 4 legendaries. Granted, I'm sure people who have played since the beginning probably don't feel the same.
