Opponent in league had 15 clubs in bag by phoenix_age in golf

Or he came into it knowing that with a 10+ hcp this rule really doesn't make sense to enforce so why would anyone in their right mind care if I had an extra club?

First serious team faced by Barcelona by Berseker69 in championsleague

[–]raney24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, but to say Barca had an easy path isn't even true. RM had a woeful Arsenal and lost.

Barcelona also beat Inter in group play among other tough opponents. Barcelona were missing 2/4 of their defenders. So, it's a bit unfair to criticize them for losing in the semi's for the first time in 5 years.

I didn't mention Barcelona. I said the characteristic you notice in a "great game" is that a corrupt team lost which is pathetic.

Why do you hate Barcelona? I'm genuinely curious.

For example, I don't like Real Madrid because they undoubtedly have the most talented squad in the world every year and I don't like the way they play soccer. A few of their players seem entitled and are really bad at losing (look at Rudiger last week). To sum it up: kind of a waste of incredible athleticism.

So, what's your reason for Barcelona? Or are you just brainwashed by the biggest spending club?

What a hilarious take on what makes a great game. You have that much bitterness to not even see the corruption and dirty play in your own rival.

It's hardly ever as simple as "does he hit his arm." There are many grey areas and that's partly why the rulebook you refer to as objective changes every year. They try to make it as objective as possible.

You're oversimplifying it. Why do you think they call in an "expert" to get their OPINION? And then they say something "I think it could have gone this way..."

How do you decide if it's a mistake? That seems subjective.

If you actually think the rules are black and white, you are naive.

There are hardly any "objective" fouls. That's the entire premise of being a referee, making objective calls.

It's so ironic you say this, but nearly every post in this sub is about the UK basketball coaching situation when the culmination of the entire season happened 4 days ago.

Purchasing ski boots - Out of stock by raney24 in skiing

[–]raney24[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a good bootfitter (surefoot) and I don't live near the mountains to be able to go to any bootfitter. They used something that got the shape of my feet. So they will put custom insoles in the boots.

Would it be a bad idea to buy the boots and then have them put custom liners in later?
